The Marvel Cinematic Universe has provided a ton of unexpected team-ups throughout the years. Several of which have become fan favorites. One example is when Steve Rogers and Groot exchanged names in Avengers: Infinity War. But in a series as vast as the MCU, there are still a ton of characters that haven’t yet crossed paths that many would want to see do so, either because they share traits or because they couldn’t be more different from one another.
Today we’ll list down top 10 character interactions we would like to see in the MCU.
10. Blade and Morbius
Considering that Mahershala Ali is getting ready to play The Daywalker in the Blade Reboot. Even if Sony’s in-house film was more of a mess than anything, Morbius would be the ideal addition. Fans want to see these two characters clash and ultimately team up.
9. Captain America And The Wasp
Sam Wilson and Hope Van Dyne are likely to become the newest Avengers, so it seems natural that they will eventually cross paths.
To witness Van Dyne’s first full-fledged adventure with the Avengers would be amazing. Wilson’s strict leadership style and Van Dyne’s charismatic personality ought to work well together.
8. Spider-Man And The Human Torch
The Human Torch has always had a brotherly bond with Spider-Man. The friendship between Peter Parker and Johnny Storm began with Spider-Man’s first comic book stories and has persisted ever since through several crossovers. In the Ultimate comics, Johnny and Peter briefly attended the same high school. Spider-Man and the Human Torch were the subjects of their own Marvel book from 2005. So, it would not be shocking to see Johnny Storm in the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
7. Ms. Marvel And Spider-Man
Ms. Marvel was displeased with Spider-Man’s presence when they first met because he was interfering with her initial solo operation. The two grew close and ultimately became buddies as they cooperated to reveal the cover for AIM and release the imprisoned Avengers.
Iman Vellani and Tom Holland‘s love-hate relationship would be fascinating to watch.
6. Agatha Harkness And Doctor Strange
After witnessing Agatha’s magical confrontation with the Scarlet Witch, it appears Stephen Strange will be Agatha’s next magically endowed foe in Marvel. We as fans would love to see that happen.
5. Star-Lord & Ant-Man
The MCU has demonstrated that anything is possible, with shared moments between Nebula and Tony Stark and Bucky and Rocket serving as excellent examples. Quill and Lang may initially look like an unusual couple, but they are not alone. These two personalities together would undoubtedly make for some amusing on-screen interactions.
4. Shang Chi and Daredevil
Shang Chi was a great asset to the MCU, but the movie’s breathtaking action scenes received perhaps the most praise. Interestingly, the same could be said for Marvel’s Daredevil Netflix series. With the latter joining the MCU officially, it may be entertaining to watch a fight between these two tough heroes.
3. Miles Morales And Ms. Marvel
While they were teenagers, Kamala and Miles connected over a variety of issues, but their dissatisfaction with how their adult heroes behaved in the Civil War II era was especially strong. They formed their own superhero team, the Champions. Miles and Kamala should have that story arc in the MCU as well.
2. Wolverine And Hulk
There seems to be a greater chance than ever for these two forces to collide, especially since the X-Men will undoubtedly make their MCU debut. Jackman’s Logan might refer to the Hulk as Bub in Secret Wars.
Due to the Hulk’s volatility, Wolverine has faced off against him quite a few times. Wolverine vs. the Hulk is one of the few superhero face-offs that fans are as eager to see onscreen as any other.
1. Spider-Man And Thor
The thought of Thor and Parker working together on a hypothetical mission might seem strange, but Holland and Hemsworth’s chemistry would be incredible to witness on screen.
It’s possible that the two characters will meet on-screen in the upcoming Avengers 5 movie.
