Are you tired of everyone talking over and over about Star Wars? Do you want to watch it too, but cannot gain any interest due to the bad quality of the trilogies?

Well, we’ll help you out! Here is a proper guide to how you can build up interest in Star Wars. And we won’t just tell you to watch the original trilogy, we have a better solution.

Is It Necessary To Watch The Three Trilogies?

The three trilogies represent the original timeline of Star Wars, though it is really up to you if you want to watch it or not. You can start with the other series and movies and then return to the trilogies.

Let us give a chance to these trilogies. The original timeline of Star Wars originally revolves around nine episodes. Other than these we have several individually standing films and tv shows.

The First Trilogy

Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith

The first one revolves around a young boy named Anakin Skywalker. The first movie of this trilogy shows us his origin story, of how two Jedi Knights found a young boy with strong force around him.

The next two focus on how he slowly falls for the Dark Side of the force. Which eventually leads to him becoming a sith lord named Darth Vader. Determined to finish the Jedi, Vader sweeps the whole galaxy.

The Second Trilogy

The next three focus on another young kid named Luke Skywalker, the offspring of Anakin Skywalker. These focus on how he became a Jedi Knight and got accompanied by a few more people like Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Chewbacca, and his sister Leia. Also how he defeats his father, Darth Vader, and Emperor Palpatine.

The Third Trilogy

The final trilogy takes us back to the events of the previous two. It revolves around a girl named Rey, who turns out to be Jedi. Her conflict with the empire starts when she meets a rogue star trooper and becomes allies with him.

This also focuses on the son of Han Solo and Leia Organa, Ben Solo aka Kylo Ren, who just like his grandfather Darth Vader turned to the dark side of the force. After her search for Luke Skywalker, Rey starts her training with him.

Amidst her training, the rebellion continues to face the empire, again making Rey face Kylo Ren. In the last settlement of the trilogy comes a big reveal. Rey in reality is Emperor Palpatine’s granddaughter, who is well and alive and waits for Rey to take over his throne of the Sith.

The Trilogy winds up with Palpatine’s death and the end of the empire and the win of the rebellion.

If you still aren’t interested in watching the 9 settlements of Star Wars, you can start watching some other movies and stories.

The Mandalorian is one of the best series to start watching Star Wars. With only two seasons and not many references to the original trilogies, it keeps you fixated on your seats the whole time.

We get to witness the adventurous life of a Mandalorian bounty hunter played by Pedro Pascal. He comes across one of the last survivors of the species the famous Jedi Warrior Master Yoda belonged to, A Baby Yoda. With ups and downs in his mission to help him reach his kind, Mando faces many challenges with the empire.

We get to see many cameos by famous Star Wars characters like Ahsoka played by the famous Rosario Dawson. We also get to see Giancarlo Esposito play another powerful and determined villain.
