Hype is gradually building up for MCU’s Phase 5 projects among fans after widespread condemnation of the poor quality of Phase 4. One such movie many are looking forward to is “Captain America: New World Order”. The rumor circulating about the movie is that Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, will create a new Avengers team to go against Thaddeus Ross, who is speculated to become Red Hulk.

So which heroes will join Wilson’s team? We have the rumored list right here:

1) Shang-Chi

The post-credits scene of Shang-Chi showed that heavyweight heroes like Captain Marvel and Bruce Banner were aware of his existence and were trying to find out the origin of the Ten Rings. As such, it was only a matter of time till Shang-Chi appeared as part of the Avengers. Also, we saw how powerful the Ten Rings were, and they will be useful in the fight against Thaddeus Ross and his forces.

2) Black Panther

Shuri as the Black Panther

Shuri is now the new Black Panther after the passing of her brother T’Challa. At the end of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, we saw that she wasn’t the Queen of Wakanda anymore and had passed the responsibilities of ruling to M’Baku. So she’s just the Panther hero now. In the movie, we saw tensions rising between USA and Wakanda. By the time we reach Captain America: New World Order, those tensions will surely boil over. After all, we expect Ross to push for the acquisition of Vibranium vigorously. As such, in such troubling times, Shuri will definitely join the team to oppose Ross.

3) Ant-Man

The leaked list of heroes who will form Wilson’s new Avengers contained Ant-Man, but we are not sure. After all, with Ant-Man 3 closing out the trilogy and Scott Lang rumored to die in the movie, him becoming a part of the new team seems far-fetched. It’s more plausible that his daughter Cassie Lang might become a part of the Avengers. However, Scott might survive and join this new group after all.

4) She-Hulk

We expect both She-Hulk and Hulk to join the team. After all, with Ross reportedly becoming Red Hulk, it makes sense that the green ones will have to be there to tackle him. Also, since Jennifer Walters is a superhuman lawyer, she will definitely get involved in the legalities of whatever Ross is trying to do. We just hope Tatiana Maslany’s character gets great VFX this time around.

5) Moon Knight

Till now, Moon Knight has not even been rumored to be a part of any other Phase 5 project except this. But it does make sense that he will be a part of the Avengers. After all, he is powerful, and why would they make a Moon Knight solo project if not to induct him as part of the team?

6) War Machine

If Thaddeus Ross uses the military to forcefully take over power or carry out discriminatory practices, Rhodey/ War Machine will oppose him. Right now, one of the theories is that Ross will become the US President and outlaw superheroes. So War Machine will definitely side with Sam’s team on this issue. After all, he has been through the events of Captain America: Civil War and knows the effects of such an order.

7) Hawkeye

We have a question- which Hawkeye will join the team? Is it Clint Barton or Kate Bishop? The Hawkeye Disney+ series gave Clint a happy ending. So he might not be a part of it. However, as the hero who has dealt with civil wars and is seasoned in espionage, his experience (and gadgets) will be invaluable to the new team. And maybe Kate can join him too.

Bonus: Ms Marvel In The Avengers

If the rumors about Captain America: New World Order basically being a retread of Captain America: Civil War are right, then we might see a young hero be a part of the group. Just like Spider-Man was a part of Civil War, this time, Ms Marvel might be the surprise hero who will come to help at the end. And we expect her to have battle experience after the events of The Marvels.

As for other heroes like Captain Marvel, Thor, and Doctor Strange, we don’t think they show up in the movie because the threat is below their power levels. After all, each one of the above three heroes can take down Thaddeus Ross without breaking a sweat. It’s also the same situation as Captain America: Civil War, where Hulk and Thor got benched.

What do you think of this team? Let us know.
