Agatha Harkness’s character development in the Disney Plus series was significantly different from that shown in the comics, and the program omitted key details about the witch’s mysterious past. A lot of people don’t know this, but Agatha Harkness has a startling backstory.

With that being said, Here are a few facts that I’m sure you didn’t know about Agatha Harkness.

1. Found a Friend in Ebony

Numerous witches rely on relatives, which are creatures whose souls have been taken over by bad forces. These companions are frequently kitties and black cats in particular. In the same way, Agatha seems to have a black cat named Ebony who serves as her favorite. Ebony, her familiar, is a strong being from another realm who sometimes takes the form of a cat.

Because of their psychic connection, Agatha often assigns Ebony out on missions for her. When threatened, Ebony may morph into a huge monster with incredible agility and ferocious fangs. 3. A Soldier of the War

Agatha has been alive for quite some time, and during her existence, she has utilized her magical abilities to aid humanity on several occasions. She, like many others, arrived in America in search of opportunity and refuge from oppression; when the Groundbreaking War broke out, she battled for the fledgling country, supporting the Daughters of Liberty and sometimes even instructing them in the use of witchcraft.

Also, she ended the Nazi dubbed Hilda Von Hate’s menace by joining the Department of the Uncanny and fighting against the supernatural side of the Axis forces throughout World War II.

4. Not a Good Friend Either

Agatha Harkness’s tenure as Franklin’s babysitter with the Fantastic Four ended, and she eventually joined the Scarlet Witch’s team. Agatha took on the role of babysitter for the newly born babies of Vision and Scarlet Witch.

When they were first conceived, both Agatha Harkness, as well as Mephisto, had a hand. After Wanda established a new planet in House of M and was branded an eternal enemy by the X-Men on M-Day, she really fell from grace. When she realized that her children lived and had been snatched from her, she quickly lost the confidence of even her superhero friends. In the same arc, Wanda killed Agatha after discovering her involvement in the deceit and then turned on the rest of the Avengers.
