The cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos has grown by two more actors after recently adding Aubrey Plaza and Joe Locke. According to recent reports, actors Maria Dizzia and Ali Ahn have joined the Disney+ series in unspecified roles. Emma Caulfield Ford already disclosed that she will return to the set to reprise her WandaVision character, Dottie.

The MCU’s first release following Avengers: Endgame was the Jac Schaeffer-created show WandaVision, which featured Kathryn Hahn in an excellent performance as Agatha. It detailed the tale of Wanda’s sorrow about losing Vision and was set three weeks after the tragic events. Matt Shakman, who directed the show, drew his inspiration from years of American sitcoms.

The spin-off, originally titled Agatha: House of Harkness, was revealed in 2021 at Disney+ Day and quickly became popular due to WandaVision’s success and Agatha’s fandom.

Although it is uncertain what roles Ali Ahn and Maria Dizzia will have in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, there is a good probability that the actors will play New Salem witches who may be out for revenge.

Nicholas Scratch’s offspring form the Salem Seven, a group in Marvel Comics. Agatha is successfully abducted by this supervillain group, which wants to kill her for betraying New Salem under Scratch’s command.

It’s conceivable that the Salem Seven from the MCU may be made up of the kids or grandkids of the witches Agatha slew from her clan in 1693, according to a flashback displayed in WandaVision.

Ahn has starred in The Other Two, Next, Billions, The Path, and Supernatural in addition to playing Suzanne Wu on the brief superhero series Raising Dion on Netflix.
Dizzia played Lucy Mercer Rutherford in The First Lady, and she presently has a recurring character as Lori Campbell in The Staircase. She also had regular appearances in Orange is the New Black and 13 Reasons Why.

The Disney Plus premiere of Agatha: Coven of Chaos is scheduled for late 2023.
