They are both renowned for their gorgeous physiques. So Amanda Holden and Davina McCall were the ideal dream match for a new collaboration, as they both stripped down to underwear to promote the new Christmas ad for online store JD Williams.
Amanda chose a pair of sexy costumes, with the BGT judge, 50, scorching in red and black numbers, and Davina, 54, stunned in a racy naked appearance. Amanda was an ideal choice for the ad in which she donned two sensual looks since she routinely flaunts her fantastic form.
The first featured a crimson longline bra with underwiring and low-slung Brazilian bottoms to highlight her toned abs. On the other hand, Davina was stunning in a black and nude two-piece that showed the benefits of her arduous gym training.
The ladies also appeared fully dressed, with elegant photos of them both in winter jackets and boots as they stood together. They then wore Christmas jammies, which was the perfect preparation for the holiday season.
Amanda has won a part in Neighbours as the aunt of Jason Donovan’s daughter, Jemma, 21. The first look photographs from the set were shared by Channel 5 last month, after the couple recorded together in Waterloo, London, ahead of the episodes premiering in the spring.
In the episode, Jemma’s character Harlow will travel to the United Kingdom in the hopes of solving a mystery about her late mother, Prue, played by Denise Van Outen. In between scenes, Amanda and Jemma posed for a photo with the Ramsay St street sign, where the soap is situated.
Amanda also said that many passers-by mistakenly assumed the duo were linked in real life. ‘My first day on set was such a fantastic and bizarre experience,’ she says. I would never have believed it if someone had told my 12- or 13-year-old self that I would one day feature on Neighbours!
‘So many people were honking in their cars, and bystanders believed Jemma was my genuine daughter since we look so similar!’ ‘I can’t wait to continue Harriet’s adventure.’ She earlier stated in a statement, ‘Like most people in the UK who were around in the late 1980s and early 1990s, I grew up watching Neighbours every single day.’
‘I was hooked to our TV for Kylie [Minogue] and Jason [Donovan’s] wedding, loathing Mrs. Mangel [Vivean Gray] and wishing that Mike and Jane [Guy Pearce and Jane Harris] would ultimately get together! ‘Not to mention all the other greats over the years,’ she continued.
‘To now have the opportunity to be a part of such a renowned Australian program is just fantastic.’ I can’t wait to collaborate with Jemma in London. Everyone seemed to be having a good time.
