Since Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is the first film of Marvel Phase 5. The MCU’s future depends heavily on it. The movie does a good job of introducing Kang the Conqueror to the MCU. It also offers the most thorough investigation of the Quantum Realm to date.

Quantumania, like several other Marvel films, has callbacks to prior MCU films as well as comic book source material. Now that Ant-Man and the Wasp has been out, fans can get a summary of all the Easter eggs found in the most recent quantum adventure.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is successful in integrating a plethora of Marvel Easter eggs.

The ooze-covered, hole-obsessed creature is not a product of the comics. However, he is portrayed by David Dastmalchian, a well-known actor who originally played Kurt, a member of Scott’s crew of ex-con thieves, in the first and second Ant-Man films.

When Scott grabs his cup of coffee at his favorite coffee place, the shop owner, Ruben, says, “Thank you, Spider-Man!” Apparently, there was a miscommunication, as the café owner confused Scott with New York’s Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
It also demonstrates that the rest of the world has forgotten who Spider-Man is.

Scott’s Book

Scott Lang wrote the book Watch Out for the Little Man, a memoir of his journey from his beginnings as a divorced father and convict to his elevation as the Avenger who helped save the world by reversing Thanos’ Snap. More hilarious is the fact that you can actually purchase this book. Fans may now learn everything there is about Scott’s life from his standpoint.

Randall Park also appears in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Reprising his role as Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp. Woo was the officer tasked with keeping a watch on Scott Lang amid the events of Captain America: The Civil War. Randall Park played Jimmy Woo again in WandaVision.
Jimmy Woo is shown having lunch with Scott Lang in the Ant-Man threequeal.

The Time Chair

Kang and Janet spent a significant amount of time in the quantum realm collaborating to repair Kang’s transportation chair. Which would allow them to escape the microuniverse. Despite not being called Kang’s Time Chair, it resembles the time-traveling apparatus the character uses in the comics.

Council Of Kangs

The post-credits scene introduces a bunch of Kangs who are all gathered in a stadium. This is another nod to the comics, notably Avengers #292 from 1988, which depicts the Council of Kangs. In fact, the scene of all the Kangs celebrating in Quantumania is nearly a carbon copy of a panel from that comic.

Kang Has Killed Thor

Despite the fact that there are several Kangs in the multiverse, Kang the Conqueror appears to have fought the Avengers in several timelines. After Kang discovers Ant-Man is an Avenger, he asks Scott if he has ever killed him. Kang also mentions killing “the one with the hammer,” implying that Kang the Conqueror killed a Thor variant.

Baskin-Robbins

At the beginning of the movie, Scott can be seen accepting an “Employee of the Century” award from his old boss Dale at Baskin-Robbins. This is a humorous homage to how Scott was compelled to work at the ice cream business after being released from custody in his first movie.

Although he was dismissed for lying about his criminal past, his job loss benefited him become the hero who helped save the universe. Yet it’s still encouraging to see that Scott and Dale are on good terms.

Victor Timely

The second end-credits scene looks to be lifted directly from Loki Season 2 and reveals another Kang variant. In the comics, Victor Timely is a Kang who travelled back in time to the nineteenth century and used his knowledge of the future to become the Tony Stark of the time. Loki, having seen what these variants are capable of, looks upon Victor Timely with fear. While his partner Mobius doesn’t think he’s all that harmful.

Stature

Cassie Lang owns a costume and has access to Pym Particles. While shrinking and fighting take some getting used to, she proves to be highly capable when she is giant-sized. Cassie, as a teammate of the Young Avengers, preferred to enlarge rather than shrink in her original comic adventures. This might be her future in the MCU.

Incursions

Kang the Conqueror made reference to incursions, devastating multiversal catastrophes in which two or more universes collide and are destroyed. Incursions will occur, there will be turmoil, and Kang mentions how risky it will be for him to stay in the Quantum Realm. Incursions were a significant new threat that was first established in Doctor Strange 2, and they played a vital role in the 2015 Secret Wars graphic novel.
