Finally Today, after getting recorded by a shaky camera in D23 and getting leaked online, Marvel released the first official trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. While fans were thrilled to see the long-awaited trailer for the first time.
The importance of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is primarily due to Kang the Conqueror, the film’s antagonist. Jonathan Majors, who previously appeared in Loki as He Who Remains, makes a triumphant return to the MCU as Kang the Conqueror. Kang’s ambitions to rule the multiverse date way back to the comics. Making Kang the main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga and giving him a leading role in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars makes it evident that Marvel Studios has very big plans for him.
There are several characters in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania who the film’s antagonist might possibly kill, but Marvel has previously hinted that Kang will kill Ant-Man.
Ant-man’s Fate ?
While it’s possible that Ant-Man may pass away in Quantumania, we can’t definitively rule it out. However, a leaked image makes us think that Scott’s solo movie may be unpleasant for him.
On December 2, 2021, a picture of a souvenir that Marvel Studios gave the stunt team went viral on social media. There are two things in the image that deserve our attention. The first and most obvious is Ant-Man’s damaged helmet. Further inspection reveals what appears to be Kang’s reflection on the helmet.

Kang confronts Ant-Man by asking him if Scott is one of the Avengers he’s previously killed in The leaked Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania footage from SDCC.
Many viewers would be devastated if Ant-Man died in Phase 5, but it might be important for Kang’s Dynasty and Secret Wars. In Infinity War, Thanos posed a bigger threat than any adversary the Avengers had yet encountered. Viewers would undoubtedly take Kang’s warnings seriously moving forward if he kills Ant-Man. Every encounter between Kang and the Avengers made fans fearful for the fate of their favourite Marvel heroes.
The teaser for Quantumania gives fans a short but exciting taste of what is to come from the very first movie in the MCU’s phase five. Kang the Conqueror will make his official MCU debut in the movie, while Cassie Lang will likely play a major role in the plot. This might be the ideal setting for her to begin work on a Young Avengers project.
