The D23 Expo gave us our first look at the cast of various upcoming movies and tv shows. The cast of The Thunderbolts was one of the most awaited cast reveals.

We now know which anti-heroes are gonna be part of The Thunderbolts. Yelena, Bucky, Valentina, Red Guardian, Ghost, U.S. Agent, and Taskmaster are confirmed to be a part of it.

There still are some other anti-heroes who in the comics were part of The Thunderbolts but aren’t in the film. Let’s take a look at these.

Zemo

Baron Zemo in the comics is the leader of The Thunderbolts. Being under arrest by Wakanda, Zemo probably couldn’t be a part of the team but that doesn’t mean he won’t be in the movie.

Recent reports suggest that Zemo will be in the movie. Fans speculate that it will be Valentina, who brings together the team and they’ll be the ones responsible to break out Zemo from the prison.

The current leader of The Thunderbolts is rumored to be Yelena Belova, but if this fan theory is accurate, we know who’ll be the leader if we get to see them again.

Abomination

After his cameo in She-Hulk Attorney At Law, Abomination was rumored to join The Thunderbolts. His six soulmates were originally speculated to be the six members of The Thunderbolts.

The series still hasn’t ended, so we don’t know what his fate will be at the end of it. Maybe he does join The Thunderbolts and is a surprise in the movie.

Songbird

Mellisa Gold aka Screaming Mimi aka Songbird, in the comics, is a superhero who joins The Thunderbolts in hopes to do good. Originally a villain she turns into a superhero and becomes second-in-command for The Thunderbolts.

Songbird continuously tries to uncover Zemo’s world domination plans in the comics. She hasn’t yet been introduced into the MCU. Being an important member of The Thunderbolts, she’s expected to be a part of it.

Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider has been a fan favorite for years, be it the live-action version of him or from the comics. He hasn’t yet been introduced into the MCU.

Robbie Reyes was introduced in Marvel’s Agents Of Shield but wasn’t confirmed to be canon with the MCU. She-Hulk’s latest episode dropped a funny easter egg with a magician named Donny Blaze making Wong’s life uneasy.

The Punisher

According to recent rumors, The Punisher will make his way into the MCU through The Thunderbolts. The Punisher in the comics has long been a part of The Thunderbolts. Seeing him in the movie wouldn’t be that big of a surprise but will be exciting.

The Thunderbolts in the comics have been a really big team for years. Other than these, there are others who aren’t on the team like Deadpool, Red Hulk, and Electra…..

Let’s wait for the movie and see what Marvel has in store for us.
