Affleck admitted that he only just recently “figured out how to play [Batman]” after playing the character for so long. He then shared that the scene involves Wonder Woman saving Batman during a fight with some bad guys, using her Lasso of Truth. The Lasso causes Batman to reveal some of his real feelings about his life and work.

Gadot’s Recent Appearances In The DCEU

Gadot’s third solo film, Wonder Woman 3, was cancelled by Warner Bros. last year, leaving her future in the DCEU unknown. However, she has recently appeared in Zachary Levi’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods and may also appear in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The Flash will be her third potential appearance in the DCEU this year.

Gadot’s Cameo In The Flash

Despite already being hinted at in set photos and Funko Pop! figures, Affleck’s comments confirm that Gadot will indeed appear in The Flash. Fans will have to wait until the film’s release to see how her scene with Batman plays out.

Affleck’s Last Time As Batman

Affleck has previously stated that his appearance in The Flash will be his last time playing Batman. While he was once potentially going to return for a big Crisis of Infinite Earth-style event, that idea seems to be scrapped due to James Gunn’s upcoming reboot.
