Britney Spears used her Instagram platform again on Tuesday to bring out her conservators’ years of cruelty.
During her vacation in Maui, the singer released a video of herself dancing in a provocative $329 Norma Kamali pink swimsuit. Britney, 40, released a series of fresh accusations about her family alongside the amusing video, asking, “Are we going to war?”
The actress looked stunning in a hot pink swimsuit with racy sheer mesh cutouts to show off her figure. She danced and posed around her room at the posh resort where she is staying with fiance Sam Asghari, 27 while wearing heels and striking sunglasses. The singer revealed more about her life under her now-terminated conservatorship in the accompanying commentary, notably the period of her ‘Piece of Me’ Las Vegas residency, which lasted from 2013 to 2017.
Friends would fly in to see her perform, she said, and they’d “show up going to the spas sipping champagne,” but she was never allowed to go to the spa or even drink tea and coffee with them.
‘No lie, and I was the loser who worked and entertained them at night…’ ‘doesn’t seem like a good deal to me either!!!!’ she wrote. In the end, Britney wrote to her family, ‘So on this beautiful day here in Maui I’m here to remind them all that being treated like an equal individual doesn’t require much … just RESPECT ✊ !!!! Pass are we going to war ???’
Britney also described how she was forced to “wear two layers of tights every night” during the concert in a recent Instagram post. Spears stated that ‘one night,’ she failed to observe the ‘two layers of tights’ guideline, allowing her to perform her dance routines to their maximum potential.
‘I swear I danced and moved way faster with nothing on my legs the one time I cheated and said NO and didn’t cover them,’ she recounted. She went off on a tangent on the ‘expensive’ swimsuit she wore for her Instagram video, saying that ‘it kind of looks like a costume but it’s good to see my legs raw.’
Britney is now on vacation in Maui with her fiance Sam Asghari, 27, as seen in images obtained earlier this week by DailyMail.com. In the months preceding up to the termination of her conservatorship in November, the Toxic singer opened extensively about her time in Las Vegas and how she was supposedly unable to do anything but perform.
