Charli XCX avoided her own gaffe when she presented at the 2021 ARIA Awards thanks to the miracle of pre-recordings. The previously-released song “New Shapes,” starring Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek, will be included in the upcoming set, as will contributions from Rina Sawayama, Oneohtrix Point Never, A. G. Cook, The 1975’s George Daniel, and Ariel Rechtshaid, and others.
