As much as fans complain about the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s generic style, it’s difficult to find two superhero TV shows with more distinct tones than “Daredevil” and “She-Hulk.”

In Disney Plus’s She-Hulk, Abomination, Wong, and Daredevil were all depicted in a somewhat different manner than we’ve been used to. For some fans, the shift in tone was too extreme. Daredevil fans were quick to condemn the portrayal of Matt Murdock on social media. The way Daredevil was handled in She-Hulk on Disney+ drew a significant amount of criticism.

The Man Without Fear, after spending the night with Jennifer Walters, ended up undergoing the “walk of shame” in his yellow and brown suit. This drew a significant amount of criticism.

Charlie Cox has now finally responded to the criticism.

He’s Just Having Fun

In a recent interview, Charlie Cox addressed his character’s She-Hulk portrayal and provided an effective response to its critics.

Cox stated that, “There’s the walk of shame when you’re like, “I don’t know.” This could go either way. “This may be something that fans enjoy, or it could be something that goes against the essence of what they like about the character and the tone of the performance.”
“Matt is in Los Angeles in this world, and he lets his hair down a little.” He’s just having fun. In the courtroom, he’s killing it. He’s having an affair with a stunningly gorgeous and captivating lawyer. Then they get to do some superhero things.”
“You can’t please everyone all the time.” If She-Hulk’s not your thing, then don’t watch it. “Watch something else.”

Hardcore fans have slammed Daredevil’s humorous quips in She-Hulk, claiming that the studio damaged the character’s personality.

Charlie Cox will reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil when the Marvel Studios Disney Plus series arrives on Disney+ in 2024.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek has intimated that R-rated content will be included in the MCU due to “the versatility” of their streaming platform. The first of these is already known to be Marvel Zombies.

Daredevil: Born Again: This will be the second piece of R-rated content to launch on Disney+, according to a recent report.
