What does Charlie Cox thinks of She-Hulk appearing in Daredevil: Born Again? And will she be his love interest in it?
Marvel’s “She-Hulk” Disney+ show has undergone its fair share of criticism. But one aspect of the show that seemed to be universally loved was the romance between Daredevil and She-Hulk. In the show, Matt Murdock even attended a Walter’s family cookout with Jennifer. As such, fans want to know if we will see this romance progress in the upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again” show. They will also be delighted to know that Charlie Cox has given his opinions on this matter. Scroll below to read them:
In a recent interview with Metro.co.uk, the MCU actor said that he definitely wants Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters in the show. He said:
“I’ve made it no secret that I’m a huge fan of Tatiana and the fun we had on She-Hulk was some of the best fun I’ve had as that character. I thought she was amazing as Jennifer Walters, and I would be a huge… certainly an advocate of her showing up in our show if she’s free and available and willing and all of those things. So I would love for that to happen. I have no idea if that is possible.”
The actor also said that he is excited to see if any crossovers/ cameos happen with his “Daredevil: Born Again” show. He said:
“I don’t know anything. I haven’t read anything from any scripts. So I don’t know. I have no idea. But the only thing that’s fun going forward for the Daredevil show is that of course when we were on Netflix, we didn’t have the opportunity to really have the crossovers other than the characters that we knew we had in that Netflix Marvel world. Now that door is wide open to all sorts of possibilities and that, for me, as someone who’s become a great fan of the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s really exciting that that door is open and that we can have cameos from other characters that we couldn’t before.”
Charlie Cox has teased that there’s a possibility of crossovers and cameos happening in “Daredevil: Born Again,” and we certainly expect that a show with 18 episodes will have appearances from other MCU villains and heroes. And one of them could be She-Hulk. Just like Matt Murdock adopted a lighter tone in the “She-Hulk” show, similarly, maybe Jennifer Walters will become more serious if she steps into the devil’s grimy world.
Also, Deborah Ann Woll said in a recent interview that she hasn’t been invited to reprise her role in the new Daredevil MCU series as Karen Page. So it does make us wonder if maybe Jennifer Walters will be Matt’s romantic interest from now on in the MCU.
