The MCU did this in Spider-Man: No Way Home by resurrecting Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and it turned out fairly great! Bringing back the iconic villains in a movie is a pretty damn big attraction for a movie!

This pattern appears to have been noticed by Sony, as a fresh rumor has emerged online. Sources suggest some intriguing details about the Green Goblin and Venom in Madame Web.

Venom was portrayed by Topher Grace. The theatrical failure of Morbius and the constant criticism it received from both critics and fans may have caused Sony to take a step backward. The upcoming Madame Web film, however, intends to rectify the situation for the SSU, and given that there are reports of the return of two familiar characters, it could have a shot.

Tahar Rahim is said to have played the film’s villain. Though leaked set photographs point to him in the role of Ezekiel Sims, a figure who, in the comics, possessed skills identical to Spider-Man.
