The James Bond actor is one of Hollywood’s best-known performers. He made his final appearance as 007 in “No Time to Die” last year. Since then, a search for his successor has begun.

Daniel Craig will next be seen as Detective Benoit Blanc in the Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. There are still unannounced initiatives that are tied to him. The actor from Casino Royale is rumored to join the MCU, though.

Many well-known Marvel characters made appearances in Doctor Strange’s Multiverse of Madness, including Black Bolt, Captain Marvel, and even Professor Charles Xavier in drastically different variants as Illuminati members. Balder the Brave, the brother of Thor and the Asgardian God of Light, was another figure that was supposed to appear. The shelved concept artwork has now been made public, proving that Daniel Craig was intended to play him.

According to rumors, Craig appeared as Balder the Brave in the deleted sequences of Strange Multiverse of Madness. Others asserted that he was also offered the part of Mr. Fantastic. Despite not appearing in Doctor Strange 2, it appears that Marvel Studios has other plans for Daniel Craig.

According to rumors, Craig will eventually play Balder the Brave in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Asgardian is the adopted half-brother of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, Cate Blanchett’s Hela, and Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Additionally, according to reports, Craig will get his own show on Disney’s streaming service.

Craig’s participation in the MCU was originally made public in May 2022. Craig would have portrayed Balder Odinson, who belonged to the Illuminati and was Thor’s brother. The Scarlet Witch would have convinced him to take his own life. However, according to sources, Craig backed out of the movie due to his worries over the COVID-19 epidemic, and John Krasinski’s Mister Fantastic took up the role during reshoots.

These reports are likely to be accurate given that Daniel Craig played Balder the Brave in the deleted scenes from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. We might get an announcement soon.
