Daredevil: Born Again will begin shooting soon and in the same city where its Netflix namesake was being filmed. The show is set to be 18 episodes long so fans will be able to watch Daredevil on their Disney+ screens for more than 4 months if Marvel continues following the weekly release pattern it has established for its shows. Apart from this, there’s not much official information about the show. But multiple rumours are doing the rounds about potential characters joining the show. And one of them is supposedly Bullseye.

At 18 episodes, it’s almost guaranteed that Daredevil: Born Again will feature multiple villains for its titular hero to battle. And as per the Twitter scooper TheWatcher, one of the antagonists might be Bullseye. Check out the tweet below:

Viewers of Netflix’s Daredevil know that Wilson Bethel portrayed Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye in the show. He was a FBI agent with damaged mental health. He later on got manipulated by Kingpin into putting on the Daredevil replica suit to tarnish the real hero’s reputation and take out threats to Kingpin’s reign.

Over the course of the show, he battles the real Daredevil twice. But it is ultimately Kingpin who breaks his back. The last we see of him is in a facility undergoing experimental surgery to fix his spine.

Will Netflix’s Bullseye Appear In The MCU Show?

The answer to this question is- we don’t know yet. The Bullseye speculation is just a rumour for now. Marvel might choose to recast Bullseye and give him a new backstory or they might continue the story of Netflix’s Poindexter.

We know that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are coming back, but apart from them everyone else’s appearance is kept hush-hush. But fan theories are already running rampant about the show possibly setting up its own version of Sinister Six for Daredevil to battle. And Bullseye is supposedly going to be one of them.

Fan speculation also suggests that the show might lead into Spider-Man 4 where Peter Parker and Matt Murdock might have to take down Kingpin together. We could witness a court case as well about Matt using the photos and journalism done by Peter to try and put Kingpin behind bars.

But fans who are hoping for a Spidey appearance in Daredevil: Born Again shouldn’t hold their breath. Rumours suggest that Tom Holland’s new MCU deal doesn’t include appearances for Disney+ shows. However, these deals and how that are implemented are always changing. So an appearance in the Daredevil show might not be totally off the cards.

What do you think about Bullseye potentially appearing in Daredevil: Born Again? Let us know.
