Peter was a member of Wade Wilson’s X-Force team in “Deadpool 2,” and he was one of the few characters who survived the mission. However, he was killed by Zeitgeist’s acidic vomit, only to be resurrected by Cable’s time machine in the film’s final moments.

Ryan Reynolds Hints At X-Force’s Return In Deadpool 3 What Does It Mean For The MCU

Ryan Reynolds, who stars as Wade Wilson, hyped up Delaney’s return on Twitter, suggesting that Peter’s fan-favorite status played a role in the decision to bring him back. Reynolds also hinted at the return of other X-Force members, including Terry Crews’ Bedlam and Zazie Beetz’s Domino.

It seems that “Deadpool 3” will make full use of time travel, as seen in “Deadpool 2,” to bring back characters who were previously thought to be dead. With the film set to be the MCU’s next big dive into the Multiverse, fans can expect to see more familiar faces from past movies making their return.

Production on “Deadpool 3” is set to begin this month, with a theatrical release date of November 8, 2024.
