It appears that Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has some thoughts on the Doctor Strange 2 poster. Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool, and the X-Men are on their way to setting foot in the MCU. One of the many X-Men characters that Disney was given access to after the acquisition of 20th Century Fox was Deadpool. The future of Ryan Reynolds’ character was in doubt. However, when it was revealed that Deadpool 3 is in the works and will be set in the MCU, many fans were shocked. The film will still have an R-rating.
Screenwriters Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin and Wendy M. Molyneux have been attached to the project. However, no new information has been released since 2021. Since the announcement of Deadpool’s inclusion in the MCU, no details have been provided as to how exactly he will do so. In addition, some speculations reveal that Reynolds is reprising his role in Doctor Strange 2. Deadpool’s latest poster features an image that looks suspiciously like a glass shot used in previous Deadpool marketing material. For the time being, it’s unclear if this is actually happening.
Liefeld is having a good time on social media as fans speculate about the Deadpool actor’s MCU debut. Liefeld has been cryptically responding to speculation about Reynolds’ possible appearance. Nonetheless, he hasn’t said for sure if this is happening or not. Because of the NDAs, Liefield probably couldn’t say much about what was going on. However, the creator probably would still not say anything for fear of spoiling something huge for Doctor Strange 2. Liefeld has thus far reacted to the theory as follows:

It’s possible that Deadpool could appear in Doctor Strange 2, but it’s not a foregone conclusion. The MCU continues to explore the Multiverse in the wake of Spider-Man: No Way Home’s massive storyline. The “mystery character” in the latest trailer for Doctor Strange 2 appears to be none other than Sir Patrick Stewart’s Professor X. What remains to be seen is whether or not he’ll be portraying the same Professor X as in the first two X-Men films, or a new version. They can certainly do the same for Deadpool, especially if they can bring in one of the most beloved X-Men in Doctor Strange 2.
If Deadpool makes an appearance in Doctor Strange 2, it’s highly likely that it will be a cameo or a minor role. It would be a good idea for Deadpool to show up at the right time in Doctor Strange 2 to help lighten the mood. For one thing, the acquisition of Deadpool 3 is a great opportunity for Wade to make a joke about how he ended up in this situation in the first place. Fans are getting even more excited about Deadpool’s potential role in Doctor Strange 2 because of Liefield’s hilarious responses, despite him saying nothing.
