Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige refused to publicly release some embarrassing deleted scenes from Robert Downey Jr.’s debut Iron Man film. According to Jeremy Latcham, a former associate producer for the movie, there are at least three or four deleted scenes that Marvel Studios would never release as they were deemed “so bad” by Feige.
Tony Stark’s Embarrassing Laundry Scene
One of the deleted scenes from Iron Man was where Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., was doing laundry for his captors while also stealing parts from the washing machine to build his first suit. However, Feige refused to release this scene and others as they were considered too embarrassing and would reflect poorly on Marvel Studios.

There are no doubt many notable deleted scenes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) that have never been seen by anyone. Marvel Studios did release some new deleted scenes for the MCU’s ten-year anniversary, which included the reveal that Hawkeye was once part of Cap’s secret Avengers, Janet and Hank Pym on a mission in their suits, Black Widow meeting Professor Hulk, and more.
Possible Future Releases
With the vast number of MCU projects released in recent years, there is a possibility of many new undiscovered scenes. Marvel Studios could release these deleted scenes on Disney+ to attract new subscribers or even create an original documentary with them all. As the MCU approaches its 20-year milestone, fans may get a chance to see more of the lost secrets of the universe.
