Spider-Man projects that have been successful for more than ten years have long been produced and distributed by Sony Pictures. In fact, the mainstream media and the entertainment corporation have created their own Spider-Man universe, allowing them to embrace their unique interpretation of the Spider-Man side of Marvel characters. The numerous recent developments at Marvel, however, also mean that their newly established Sony’s Spider-Man Universe must advance or they might end up rebooting Spider-Man for the hundredth time.
Sony Teasing Andrew Garfield’s Comeback
Sony Posted a zoomed in poster for The Amazing Spider-Man on their Twitter handle. Many fans believe Sony is teasing Peter 3’s third solo outing in this tweet. This movie will examine what happened after the tragic death of Gwen Stacy. Additionally, it will nicely wrap up Andrew Garfield’s trilogy as the Web Slinger.

Andrew Meets Sony
Andrew Garfield apparently met Sony Pictures soon after Spider-Man: No Way Home hit theatres. According to a scooper from Twitter, they discussed the prospect of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 being produced. Discussions did come to an end due to alleged creative differences because Garfield wanted Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige to be involved, but recent reports claim that the studio and the actor have patched things up. With Sony now teasing so many posts related to The Amazing Spider-Man 3, I am absolutely certain that we will see The Amazing Spider-Man 3 at some point in the future.
However, with Garfield, the underwhelming critical and box office success of the second film prompted Sony to completely scrap their plans for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and their Sony’s Spider-Man-Universe in favor of a contract with Marvel Studios to introduce Holland’s Spider-Man to the MCU. Even after the end of the series, Garfield’s portrayal of Peter Parker remained one of the key features of the films that received consistent appreciation. The response to both of the Amazing Spider-Man films was highly mixed. Although some passionate comic book fans felt that Garfield’s Peter Parker was too “cool” to accurately portray his comic book equivalent, Garfield’s overall performance was a persistent highlight of those movies.
But it’s right to say that Andrew Garfield’s portrayal of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home was a spectacular comeback. Peter 3 remained the same, but he appeared a little less disturbed. It was entertaining to watch him battle it out with former rivals along with his fellow Peter Variants. Of course, one of the best parts of the Marvel film was when he rescued MJ from meeting the same destiny as Gwen Stacy. Garfield’s Peter is unquestionably the best of both worlds.
