The upcoming Disney Plus show Echo will follow Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez, who fans may recall from Hawkeye last year.

The show was originally scheduled for a “Summer 2023” release, after Loki Season 2 on Marvel Studios’ Comic Con 2022 plan.

Echo’s production reportedly did not go as planned, resulting in a setback, but there is now word on when Echo will eventually be released, according to reports.

According to recent sources, Marvel Studios’ Echo show will now release on Disney+ in early 2024, a considerable postponement from the initial Summer 2023 premiere.

Producer Marion Dayre stated that the series will premiere “a year after it was originally supposed to launch.”
Dayre also spoke about his experience as a Marvel Studios producer, saying, “I came in as a Co-EP and then moved a little bit, and so I didn’t start there at ground level, but I really like shifting and modifying a process to work with deadlines.” “Better Call Saul,” for example, has a brick-by-brick approach in which each episode is broken down three times. You take a general overall break, and then we lay out some arcs before going back in brick by brick.”

Echo will apparently be tied to Daredevil: Born Again, with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil expected to appear to set up his next solo series.
Echo will continue to have a strong Born Again link with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. The criminal lord was shown to be close to Maya Lopez in Hawkeye, and after being shot by her in the end, he will return in her solo appearance to uncover his future.
According to reports, Marvel Studios’ Echo will premiere exclusively on Disney+ in early 2024.

In real life, Alaqua Cox is both deaf and Native American; Echo’s character’s struggle has grown more authentic as a result of her great portrayal.
The complete fanbase is hoping for some unexpected cameos in the “Echo” series. With Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio already confirmed to comeback to Echo, we’re curious to see where Maya Lopez’s journey will go. Since Clint Barton retired after passing over the mantle of Hawkeye to Kate Bishop, it is reasonable to expect Kate to appear in “Echo.”
