Disney+’s Moon Knight, the first Marvel Studios project in the year 2022, will kick off Phase 4 in just a few short months. It’s one of the MCU’s darkest series to date, as evidenced by the first clip that was released recently. Oscar Isaac will play the titular hero. There will be plenty of new dynamics in the MCU thanks to this six-episode show featuring the year’s first new character.

Disney+’s Moon Knight, the fifth live-action Disney+ show in the MCU, will be the first one to feature a leading hero who has never appeared in the story.

At this point, media outlets from around the world are watching its first four episodes and predicting that it will be one of the best MCU shows ever. For those who are concerned about how much content was sent to those press members (four complete episodes), the release date of Moon Knight on March 30 will not deter fans.

Fans are naturally curious about how long each episode will be because screeners have started making their way around the internet. Since Moon Knight’s streaming begins in less than a month, those exact numbers have been made public.

Runtimes For The Moon Knight Episodes Have Been Revealed

The runtimes for the first four episodes of Moon Knight were revealed by The Direct’s own Julia Delbel on Twitter.

The first episode is 45 minutes long; Episodes 2 and 3 are both 50 minutes long, and Episode 4 is 51 minutes long. According to Delbel’s disclosure, the credits (which are about five minutes long) were not included in the above-mentioned runtimes.

Runtimes On Disney+ Continue To Rise

With six or nine-episode series of Disney+, Marvel has been able to experiment with new storytelling techniques. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Hawkeye’s hour-long episodes have remained consistent, but this hasn’t been the case for every episode thus far.

Moon Knight appears to be consistent with Marvel Studios’ output since early 2021, with WandaVision being the only true exception because of its sitcom-like early episodes. Episodes have ranged from 43 to 62 minutes in length for each of the three other shows, with most occupying a spot somewhere in the middle of those two extremes.

Even though it’s not yet known how long Moon Knight’s final two episodes will be, these first four episodes should provide enough material for Marc Spector’s full MCU debut. Until they begin streaming, the plots of these shows are a mystery, but even with this tidbit of information, viewers should be intrigued about what’s to come.
