On opening weekend, fans flocked to theaters to see how Marvel Studios delivered on the promises of surprises, cameos, and magical action in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The multiverse-hopping adventure may not be on track to be the box office financial or critical smash that many had hoped for, but it has received generally positive reviews.

As the theatrical run of Multiverse of Madness draws to a close, many fans are naturally curious as to when they will be able to watch it at home. Phase 4 has undoubtedly changed the game for MCU fans at home, as films are now available on Disney+ alongside premium digital releases. According to a recent entry on Disney+ Germany, the Doctor Strange sequel will be released on the streaming service on June 22 – around 45 days after the theatrical release of most post-pandemic flicks.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has a new teaser, which promotes its digital release date as Wednesday, June 22 in anticipation of a Blu-ray release on Tuesday, July 26.

The digital release date confirms the Multiverse-hopping adventure’s June 22 premiere on Disney+, as previously announced by the German Disney+ Instagram account. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has reached its apex in terms of both critical acclaim and box office records. Marvel’s biggest blockbuster has surpassed the $800 million mark in theaters, and fans’ focus has begun to shift to the MCU’s upcoming films, Ms. Marvel and Thor: Love and Thunder.

In less than a month, fans will be able to experience all of the thrills, horror, and action that the Multiverse-hopping adventure has to offer from the comfort of their own homes. As Doctor Strange 2 hits theaters, observant audiences may look forward to dissecting the film frame-by-frame in search of all of Sam Raimi’s hidden Easter eggs and references.

Despite the fact that tangible media is becoming less popular, many people will be thrilled to add Multiverse of Madness to their Blu-ray collection. Currently, Marvel Studios has made it impossible to have a complete collection of MCU releases on one’s shelf because Disney has chosen not to sell its original streaming programmes. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is now showing in theaters, with a digital release on June 22 and a Blu-ray release on July 26.
