Does Din Djarin being in episode 5 of The Mandalorian make a possibility of Grogu appearing too? The Mandalorian was the first live-action Star Wars series that debuted in 2019. Pedro Pascal stars as a competent Mandalorian in the show, which centers on his connection with Baby Yoda, a.k.a. Grogu, who initially appeared in seasons one and two. As soon as Child appeared at the premiere, viewers couldn’t get enough of him.

But the season 2 conclusion of The Mandalorian sent Grogu, Din Djarin, and others on a totally different path. During the post-credits sequence of The Mandalorian’s conclusion, The Book of Boba Fett was revealed as the first spinoff program. Besides a few Easter eggs, there wasn’t much crossover between the two series in the first four episodes of the series. In the fifth episode of The Book of Boba Fett, “The Return of the Mandalorian,” it all changed. The almost hour-long episode brought viewers up to date on Din Djarin’s activities following the conclusion of The Mandalorian season 2, showing him meeting with other Mandalorians, receiving a new ship, and plotting a reunion with Grogu.

Similarly to the episode 4 ending, which hinted at a Din Djarin appearance, the episode 5 ending suggested a Grogu appearance. However, Boba Fett must first help him to find his tiny friend before Din agrees to assist him in the war against the Pyke Syndicate. The Book of Boba Fett episode 6 might include a Grogu appearance based on that piece of conversation.

Is Grogu’s Arrival Imminent In The Book Of Boba Fett?

There have been several signs that Grogu will appear in Episode 6 of The Book of Boba Fett. In the minds of many fans, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni may have decided to keep healthy stuff like Grogu/Din Djarin for The Mandalorian Season 3.

Because The Book of Boba Fett takes place immediately after Season 2 of The Mandalorian, Grogu is now receiving Jedi instruction from Luke Skywalker in an undisclosed location. After his recent expedition, the Mandalorian heads to the Armorer to get his ancient Beskar spear melted down. The Armorer informs out that the spear may penetrate his Mandalorian armour, making it a hazardous weapon. When he is wielding the Darksaber as his primary weapon, he is effectively in charge of Mandalore. Grogu seems to be in the sixth episode of The Book of Boba Fett, based on the teaser in episode 5.

Since Baby Yoda’s debut has been teased throughout the show, viewers will be disappointed if he doesn’t show up. Only if Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni choose to preserve Din and Grogu’s reunion for The Mandalorian season 3, Grogu could be kept out of The Book of Boba Fett episode 6. But if it happens this week, the dynamic combo may be able to stay together for the rest of the season. Hopefully.
