Why does actress Elizabeth Olsen want fans to scare Marvel? The Wanda Maximoff actress wants greater involvement in the MCU. She recently expressed her desire for Marvel movie fans to scare studio executives into casting her in another role on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show.
When asked whether she would be interested in reprising her role as Wanda/Scarlet Witch in another action film, she said she did. This is what Olsen hopes, at least. The actress goes on to say that they haven’t told her what’s going to happen to her Marvel character. Consequently, she is not in a position to say what happened after.
“They don’t tell me anything about my fate. No. I don’t know. I should come back. But really, I don’t know.”
Next, Olsen asks her fans to be hostile so that it scares Marvel to follow through:
“I want fans to be so aggressive and terrify them into doing it or something.”
Olsen later backtracked after seeing how passionate and, well, terrifying online fandoms and communities can be. She admits that scaring Marvel is definitely not a good to accomplish anything:
“I mean, that’s not a good way to do anything actually.”
Realizing how “not-so-funny” her comment was, Olsen reiterated that the use of force was not unnecessary:
“I take that back. No one needs to use force.”
When Will Elizabeth Olsen Be Seen Again?
Because of how fantastic Olsen is in Doctor Stranger in the Multiverse of Madness, we have faith that her work in any Marvel production will speak for itself.
Even though actress Elizabeth Olsen had been a hero for a long time, he played the villain in Doctor Strange 2. However, in the Disney Plus series WandaVision, she became the anti-villain when she imprisoned a village out of sorrow over Vision’s death.
That trajectory is reinforced by the events of The Multiverse of Madness, in which she spearheads an attack on the fabric of reality in search of inner calm. Olsen’s acting, along with horror film veteran Sam Raimi’s directing, helps make this adventure film one of the best entries in the MCU’s fourth phase.
