Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, has surprised Star Wars fans on Twitter by revealing his love for the Disney+ animated series, Star Wars: The Bad Batch. This is not the first time Musk has mentioned the show; back in August 2021, he shared a Star Wars meme, catching the attention of Disney CEO Bob Iger. In response, Musk revealed that he was watching the show with his newborn and “waiting for Season 2,” which finally arrived in January 2023.

Musk’s interest in Star Wars extends beyond The Bad Batch. In early 2019, he visited the set of The Mandalorian, the live-action Star Wars series, which was captured in a picture posted on Twitter by the show’s creator, Jon Favreau. Favreau, who had previously consulted Musk for inspiration while creating Tony Stark for the Iron Man films, captioned the photo, “Discussing hyperdrive technology on set.”
Fans React To Musk’s Love For Star Wars

Fans of Musk and Star Wars alike have been reacting to his love of The Bad Batch on Twitter, with some expressing surprise and others excited at the prospect of a Musk cameo in the Star Wars universe. Some have even questioned how the busy billionaire has the time to binge-watch TV series. However, given his friendship with Favreau and his history of appearing in Iron Man 2, it’s not impossible to imagine Musk making a cameo appearance in a future Star Wars project.
