Spider-Man: NWH is currently the focus of most comic book fans’ attention. Nonetheless, the year 2022 is rapidly approaching. This year’s MCU project, Secret Invasion, is expected to premiere. In addition to Samuel L Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Olivia Colman, and Emilia Clarke, the series will feature a number of other well-known actors.

Nick Fury will play a prominent role in Secret Invasion. This is expected to see him interact with several Skrulls, including Talos, played by Ben Mendelsohn. A long-running invasion of Earth is revealed in the Marvel Comics run of the same name, with Skrulls replacing various heroes as posers over the years.

When it comes to the Skrulls in the Marvel Universe, they’ve been shown to be more friendly than they were on the comic book page. Secret Invasion’s plot details are scarce, but some of its cast members have given fans a taste of what’s to come.

Which Marvel Character Will We See Emilia Clarke Play?

Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman are both spies in the upcoming Disney+ series. This is in accordance with Murphy’s Multiverse insider Charles Murphy’s report. Emilia Clarke is believed to have superpowers with the kick of a spy.

Murphy responded to a Twitter user’s question about who the two actors would play by saying:

“Both spies. Clarke a spy with powers”

As for Clarke’s character, the insider stated that he hasn’t been given any more information about it:

“On Colman and Clarke’s roles: I have no idea who the characters are. I see what I said about Clarke already getting spun. I do not know who she is playing. Never gave a character name.”

In Secret Invasion, There Are Even More secrets

There are still many unanswered questions about this Marvel project. This, even though this tidbit gives us some insight into what it might look like.

As Clarke has stated, she is eager to be a part of the MCU. Nonetheless, she does not want to reveal the identity of the character she will portray. That, coupled with the statement that Secret Invasion is only the beginning of the character’s journey, indicates that the former Game of Thrones actress is playing a significant role.

So far in Phase 4, the MCU has introduced big names in the next five to ten years of the franchise in nearly every movie. The Fantastic Four and X-Men franchises are set to be the subject of two major Marvel Studios bombshells. As a reason, it’s possible that Clarke has some connection to either of those franchises.

There may be some connection between Clarke and the Fantastic Four if Secret Invasion uses its space-faring nature. In the series, Murphy, on the other hand, seems to imply that she will be endowed with these abilities. To play Sue Storm in Secret Invasion, Emilia Clarke would not have superpowers because Marvel Studios is likely to want to give those characters their beginnings in Jon Watts’ Fantastic Four, so it would not make sense for her.
