A handful of Fox’s X-Men films, starring Evan Peters as Quicksilver, included recognizable speed sequence that we expect to see in the MCU in the future. In the wake of Pietro (Aaron Taylor-Johnson)’s passing away in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Quicksilver was rapidly lost in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Peters was introduced by Marvel to the MCU as Quicksilver in Wanda Vision. But we found out at the conclusion of the season that he was only a decoy. New online reports, however, suggest that Peters might return to the MCU shortly.
Ralph Bohner from Westview was portrayed by Peters. Before Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) assumed control of the city, he was an actor, with Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) actually orchestrating his performance the entire time.
Deadpool 3
New rumors have surfaced online claiming that Evan Peters will appear in Deadpool 3 along side Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. Peters’ inclusion in Deadpool 3 would go a long way towards restoring fan’s trust after Wanda Vision’s infamous fake-out left them feeling betrayed. Given that Pietro Maximoff from Earth-616 passed away many years ago, his Quicksilver would also usher in a number of intriguing stories for the MCU. This would also mean that Wanda would finally meet his brother, who’s not just a decoy.
How Would This All Make Sense ?
Logan was familiar with Quicksilver from a distant time. In the Fox timeline, this incident must occur between 1973 and 2023. By chance, 2023 also happens to be the year that Wanda Vision takes place.
Let’s simply suppose that Deadpool 3 takes place somewhere before 2029 since it will be released in 2024.
In X-Men Days Of Future Past, the future (again, 2023), Mutants are on the verge of extinction in a post-apocalyptic reality. Although Logan claims to have known Quicksilver after 1973. Quicksilver is nowhere to be found (so definitely later than any of the First Class movies). Logan had to have encountered him even later because he wasn’t in the X-men trilogy from the 2000s. Maybe in 2023, before the events of Days Of Future Past.
In Deadpool 3, Logan and Quicksilver will eventually cross paths, which then will make sense on how Logan Knew Quicksilver. The plot of this film will revolve around DOFP. Hopefully, there will be another exciting super-speed sequence, and Quicksilver will join Deadpool in the MCU while Logan stays behind to finish the fight. Once in the MCU, the two will be arrested for apparently not existing, and Quicksilver will be given witness protection under the fictitious name Ralph Bohner that Deadpool gave him. With “Ralph” arriving in Westview a few months before Wandavision, everything fits the timelines and makes sense with the characters.
