Obi-Wan fans can rejoice! The first official teaser for the Kenobi series is out. The teaser opened to rave reviews and was release as part of the 2022 Disney Annual Shareholder’s presentation. The series stars Ewan McGregor who reprises his role after three decades. The teaser has brought viewers much nostalgia and action to be expected in the series. It is also said to bring some new and old heroes, and some new and old villains. Their presence will help us determine the aim of an exiled Kenobi in this limited series.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will be released on May 25, is the next series in Lucasfilm’s 2022 lineup of Star Wars projects. After a long wait, fans were just hit with a huge amount of promotion. A new cover and photos for Entertainment Weekly were released for the show, soon after the stunning teaser trailer was released. There have been first looks at live-action Inquisitors, Uncle Owen and Reva, and images of Obi-Wan’s sad life on Tatooine in the teaser for the movie. The marketing has given fans a lot to think about until the final trailer comes out. The show has a stellar cast that brings heroes and villains to life, following a long line of great actors in the Star Wars Disney+ area.

Among them is rumored to be Temuera Morrison, who also spent a lot of time on Tatooine in The Book of Boba Fett. He has given Boba Fett a new lease on life through his appearances in both the show and the second season of The Mandalorian. His first Star Wars role came in 2002, when he played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones. As General Kenobi’s right-hand man, he played Commander Cody in Revenge of the Sith.

Boba Fett As A Jedi Hunter?

The new series will follow the journey of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Many Star Wars fans have been asking for Morrison to return as Cody in the show. Would it be a good idea to move? Morrison seemed willing to play the part when he was asked. There was a lot of footage released for this show, but one fan took a closer look at it and found that Morrison may have been sneaked in there.

Fan @ggooblr on Twitter has drawn attention to a possible scene from the Obi-Wan Kenobi teaser trailer that might show Temuera Morrison. The Grand Inquisitor is in charge of this part of the movie, and he spins his lightsaber in front of a person on Daiyu while demanding to know where the Jedi Master is.

It looks like the citizen has something around his head that isn’t his hair.

The citizen has a very similar head outline to Boba Fett, as seen in The Mandalorian:

Perhaps the person in Obi-Wan isn’t just a random person, but none other than Commander Cody, who was last seen in Revenge of the Sith. There’s no doubt that the character seen in the trailer looks a lot like Temuera Morrison. As long as he doesn’t have much hair these days; the baldness sees could be that the citizen is sporting could be what actor grew out. The size and positioning of his head is exactly similar to Temuera’s. If Cody left the Empire, it’s not out of the question that clones may already be out of service. Inquisitors, on the other hand, could easily target a friend of Obi-Wan’s who used to be close to him.

It’s possible that the person in the trailer isn’t Cody, but it’s very likely that he isn’t. The answer isn’t entirely sure, but it’s not completely out of the question either. But the comparisons that are being drawn seem to be a little far-fetched, ones that try to connect things that aren’t there.

From a story point of view, having Cody on Daiyu would be a huge help. It’s not as big as how Palpatine returned in the Rise of Skywalker. But, it’s still pretty damn big. Daiyu isn’t the best place for Cody. A lot of people say that Obi-Wan is there to meet Kumail Nanjiani’s character and rescue Leia, so his former general wouldn’t be looking for Cody when he was there.

The Bad Batch May Influence The Show

Cody would be Obi-Wan’s source, if he ran into him on Daiyu. But even though that would mean that he wouldn’t have the convenience of being in such a role, it could also lead to a different problem. The last time Obi-Wan and Cody saw each other, Cody had tank blast his commanding officer off a cliff. To figure out how the two could make contact again in exile and then build up trust again would be hard to do.

Nobody says Cody won’t be in the show. The truth is, there’s a good chance that he is. This is what happened, Captain Rex was one of a few clones who could remove his inhibitor chip. Cody did what Darth Sidious told him because of his programming. Some people thought that Cody would be the main bad guy in The Bad Batch, but that job was given to Crosshair. A lot of people think that Lucasfilm has been holding him back for Kenobi.

It looks like the Inquisitors are on the trail of Obi-Wan. They won’t stop until the Jedi Master is found. All of the Imperial troops who can help them in their hunt will be brought in. Who better to lead the infantry than the clone who worked under Kenobi? It is possible that Cody is a Purge Trooper, like the one in Fallen Order, or a commanding officer in any kind of job. If Temuera Morrison is in the show, it’s very likely that Cody will be back. Lucasfilm will probably keep that as a surprise until the show comes out.

In the meantime, the first official teaser for the series is out. The series premieres of Disney+ on May 25th 2022.
