Felicity Jones, who played Jyn Erso in Star Wars: Rogue One, recently discussed the possibility of returning to the franchise in an interview on BBC’s The One Show while promoting her new movie, Dead Shot. Jones revealed that she will not appear in Andor‘s upcoming second season but expressed hope for Jyn to make a comeback in the future.

Jones said that she enjoyed playing the character, but it was a “massive challenge” and that she is ready for the next challenge. She also previously stated that there is unfinished business for Jyn and that she would love to see the character “getting older and wiser and fighting the dark forces in the universe.”

Can Jyn Erso Make An Appearance In Andor Season 2?

Unfortunately, it would be difficult to include Jyn Erso in Andor’s second season as she doesn’t meet Cassian Andor until Rogue One. However, there could be a story arc that focuses on Jyn’s connection to Galen Erso and the Rebels taking an interest in her.

While Jyn’s appearance in Andor’s second season seems unlikely, set photos have confirmed the return of Rogue One character Moroff. Fans are also hoping to see connections to other Star Wars properties, such as the possible appearance of characters like Thrawn or Hera.

Andor is currently streaming on Disney, with the second season set to debut in the coming year.
