Last Night Henry Cavill got injured during the filming of The Witcher Season 2 shooting. The report says the star suffered from the leg injury while they were filming Arborfield Studios, Berks.

A source told the Sun:

“THE FILMING HAS BEEN HIT BECAUSE OF WHAT HAPPENED TO HENRY. HE WAS ON AN ASSAULT COURSE AND INJURED HIS LEG. HE JUST SUDDENLY PULLED UP AND WAS CLEARLY IN A LOT OF PAIN. IT WASN’T CLEAR IF AN OBJECT HAD HIT HIS LEG OR IT WAS SOME SORT OF HAMSTRING OR MUSCLE INJURY.”

“IT WASN’T BAD ENOUGH TO NEED AN AMBULANCE BUT IT’S MESSED UP THE FILMING SCHEDULE AS HE CAN’T WALK PROPERLY. HE HAS TO WEAR HEAVY ARMOUR IN THE SCENES AND HE JUST WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO DO IT WITH HIS LEG INJURY,” THE SOURCE SAID.

But the filming of the series “The Witcher” continues to its production without Henry Cavill who is reportedly still recovering from the minor leg muscle injury which he got while shooting for the series at Arborfield Studios, west of London.

Henry Cavill is expected to be sidelined for the period till he gets fully recovered. The production is set to scheduled for a festive holiday break later this month. According to the report which was first published by the Sun, Henry Cavill hurt his leg while on an assault course, shooting at a height of 20ft wearing a safety harness.

This year the production of “The Witcher” series season two has been suspended twice. The first time it got shut in March when actor Kristofer Hivju was tested positive for covid. This pause was stretched till August because of the lockdown in the United Kingdom. Later the filming was stopped in November when multiple cases of Covid-19 have emerged in crew members.

“The Witcher” is Netflix’s biggest hits with over 76 million viewership. We hope that our Cavill is in better health and if he is injured we all wish him a superman recovery. We will keep you posted on any other developments related to Cavill.

Netflix’s fantasy epic is one of the streamer’s biggest hits, with the first series watched by 76 million households. Cavill stars as Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
