Halloween Disney+ Special Teased By Marvel Studios In New Promo

Moon Knight, Oscar Isaac’s upcoming Disney+ series, is around the corner. To better understand Steven Grant’s mental anguish, audiences will see him grapple with the reality of being endowed with the powers of the Egyptian Moon God Khonshu. This, as well as his attempts to sort out what’s real and what isn’t. The show has been rumored to begin introducing viewers to the more supernatural aspects of the MCU, including Werewolves.

Rumored Marvel Studios specials include Werewolf By Midnight. It’s actually a man named Jack Russell who gets cursed with lycanthropy after reading a passage from the infamous Darkhold spellbook, which becomes the title character’s titular furry beast in the comics!

Despite recent casting reports and the announcement that Michael Giacchino will direct the Halloween-centered project, Marvel Studios has remained silent. It appears, however, that this has now changed.

A Disney+ Halloween Special Is In The Making

Werewolf

There’s something strange going on in the background of a new Moon Knight trailer released by Marvel Studios for Disney+. Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are shown with a comic book on a side table in the one-minute short.

Werewolf By Night issue 32 is a mysterious comic. The Committee, a nefarious organization, hires Moon Knight to capture Jack Russell’s Werewolf alive. This is Moon Knight’s first appearance in a story!

Gael Garcia Bernal and Laura Donnelly have reportedly been cast in Werewolf By Night. This could premiere on Disney+ during the Halloween season of 2022. Given that the spooky project is rumored to begin filming this Spring, this comic’s placement is probably not a coincidence.

Fans may be getting their first real hint that a Werewolf will be joining the MCU in the near future. You can see the whole thing down below:

There’s A Werewolf In Town

Moon Knight

Moon Knight would be a great place for Marvel Studios to introduce the Werewolf, given how they first met in the source material. Nevertheless, who exactly would be on the prowl for whom? Assuming, of course, that they begin as adversaries. It’s not conclusive, but it’s certainly not something to ignore.

The Werewolf By Midnight project was unthinkable just 14 years ago, but here we are. In the near future, Werewolf may or may not meet Marc Spector on the big screen, but Mahershala Ali’s Blade has been strongly rumored to appear in the special.

There is a good chance that Marvel will use a vampire hunter as a sort of Nick Fury for the MCU’s supernatural elements. Assuming that Dane Whitman, played by Kit Harington in Game of Thrones, is already on his side. He could use a Werewolf in his pocket.
