Apparently, Heidi Klum seems to have a total ‘blast’ during Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS photo shoot for her ‘icons’ collection.
The 48 year-old siren reunited with her co-stars – Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, and Tyra Banks, as well as Kim who showed up in the photoshoot too. The star announced openly to her fans how the reunion with her old-time pals was absolutely fun.
‘What a blast it was shooting with @tyrabanks @alessandraambrosio and @candiceswanepoel for the new @skims “Fits Everybody collection,’ the TV host wrote. ‘It has been a while since we were all together so it was so special to be reunited. Thank you @kimkardashian for making it happen.’
Heidi Klum also got to her Instagram stories to let her fans in on their post-shoot plans. The beauties dived into a box of beignets after their photo session for the shapewear brand.
‘Nothing like a beignet box to wrap a Skims lingerie show,’ wrote Kim on social media. Klum shared the story on her own account.
In the picture, the gorgeous bunch of supermodels’ hands could be seen reaching into little white boxes to take a powdered sugar beignet.
On her official Instagram, Heidi Klum posted the slew of sexy pictures with her dressed in a black set.
Heidi posed in several places around an indoor studio. For a particular shot, her photographer got up on a ladder to take snaps of Heidi as she lay on the floor.
Come Monday, Kim revealed the brand new faces for the lingerie brand. The caption of the pose on Instagram read: ‘It doesn’t get any more iconic than this.’
The reason Kim decided to showcase four household names to star in the campaign was to portray the models’ strength, abilities and endless charm with imagery that shows just how much the group has seen throughout the years. The faces were presented in a Monday morning press release.
After Kim dropped the first set of images, she herself appeared in a few others. The TV siren wore a nude bra and panties as she was placed between the catwalk legends.
‘OK so I wasn’t supposed to be in this @SKIMS campaign. But I stopped by and jumped in because it was too iconic. Introducing Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice wearing our signature SKIMS Fits Everybody collection,’ wrote Kim in her Instagram caption.
The women were all dressed in nude colors as they posed in a group with a white background. A few of them sported a distinct look as they wore black and deep brown as well.
Apart from the names mentioned, SKIMS has seen other supermodels work for the brand. One in particular was Kate Moss, who was one of the most famous faces of the 1990s thanks to her work with Calvin Klein.
SKIMS has gained worldwide recognition since its inception. In April 2021, SKIMS stood at a massive value of $1.6 billion.
But now, it has doubled. According to Forbes, Kim’s company has a valuation of $3.2billion after raising $240million in its latest round of funding in January.
The latest SKIMS campaign comes after Kardashian revealed the importance that social media holds behind her huge success.
The SKIMS founder has children North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalms, too, with ex-husband Kanye West. She is glad that social media has provided her and her famous family with a platform that allows them to openly interact with fans in a ‘meaningful way’. The idea holds more emphasis in their line of work because they can receive ‘direct feedback’. Which in turn means that they can offer people what they want from their various businesses.
In an interview with Hong Kong’s Vogue magazine for the April issue, Kim said: ‘I’m so blessed to have such an incredible family, having their support means everything.
‘The advent of social media really changed the game and we really focus on engaging with social media in a meaningful way – if we’re sharing messaging around one of our brands or interacting with followers and consumers.
‘We focus on all of the opportunities that social media allows for – having such access to direct feedback means we can pivot quickly, which can make all the difference when it comes to success.’
In addition, Kim is currently exploring futuristic ideas while trying to understand business in the Metaverse. A Metaverse is a virtual-reality space in which users interact within a computer-generated environment. Needless to say, the inclusion could take her brand to newer heights.
‘The Metaverse is so fascinating, especially as someone who has navigated the digital world for a long time! I’m always looking for new, exciting ways to work, so I definitely think the Metaverse is something to keep an eye on.’
The family’s new reality show, The Kardashians, premieres on Hulu on April 14. Talking about the family’s upcoming appearance, Kim said that the show offers a ‘more cinematic experience’ than their E! show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, did.
‘Our new Hulu show really takes a documentary style approach to filming. which will give the viewers at home a more cinematic experience.
‘Additionally, this will focus on us more individualistically, and our businesses. so we’re excited to share that part of our life more in depth as well. We’ve been really open about sharing things that are happening in our lives, and we can’t wait for the response.’
