Rama-Tut was born as Nathaniel Richards, a far-off descendant of none other than Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic in the 30th century. Initially, this character started off as a hero. After being visited by his alternate self, Kang the Conqueror, he had decided to change the course of his destiny and refused to become the villain he was meant to be. And this is when he adopted the identity of Iron Lad. However, due to obvious reasons, he found his way back to his original path and began his life as a supervillain. That’s when he was intrigued by the Fantastic Four and decided to become their nemesis. Eventually, he used a time machine created by himself to transport himself to Ancient Egypt where he became the Emperor Rama-Tut. He took control over the entire Kingdom. He even disguised the time machine as a Sphinx to blend in.

During his time in Egypt, he became somewhat of a God figure to the people. The people erected statues of him and worshipped Rama-Tut. They even rejected the old gods under his command. This is how Rama-Tut locked horns with the Egyptian Moon God Khonshu. The same Khonshu who possesses Moon Knight and makes him do his bidding. Rama-Tut even faced off against the Avengers who were helping Khonshu oust him from Egypt. Eventually, he ran into the Fantastic Four who had time travelled to procure a special radioactive herb. He enslaved the Fantastic Four which turned out to be his undoing. With the aid of Khonshu, the Fantastic Four and Doctor Strange in his astral form managed to defeat Rama-Tut.

His powers are obviously similar to those of Kang. He somehow managed to slow down his ageing process to the point where he barely grew old. Rama-Tut being from the future had access to a whole lot of advanced weaponry such as missile launchers and time travel ships. He was also extremely intelligent obviously and skilled in hand-to-hand combat. However, he was significantly less experienced and less refined than the other Kang’s. While this made him reckless and even more dangerous it also gave the heroes the opportunities to defeat him and use his carelessness to their advantage.
