Love Making scenes in Hollywood productions might seem like a dime a dozen to us as viewers. In fact, some people have even complained that these scenes don’t tend to add anything to the plot of a story a lot of the time and are just there to titillate the audience.

But no matter your views on the matter, one can’t ignore the fact that filming erotic scenes is umm…hard in more ways than one.

After all, behind the natural and effortless erotic scenes, actors have to prepare a lot. This is because getting naked in front of a stranger does require a lot of hard work and thoughtfulness while preparing for the scene.

But even with all the preparation in the world, sometimes things are bound to get awkward. And the same happened with Henry Cavill.

Henry Cavill Was In An Awkward Situation

Henry Cavill was put in an awkward situation on the sets of the period drama Tudors. The show focused on the early years of King Henry VIII’s nearly 4 decades’ worth of rule.

The series was famous for being raunchy and had pretty bold scenes. Cavill played the role of Charles Brandon the Duke of Suffolk in the show. On the sets of that show, Henry Cavill found himself in a pretty umm…hard place.

During an interview with Mens Health magazine, the actor talked about an embarrassing situation that happened on the sets of the show:

“A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn’t rearranged my stuff into a harmless position. She’s basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard.”

He then said:

“I had to apologize profusely afterwards. It’s not great when you’re in a professional acting environment, and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable.”

So Cavill, ever the gentleman, managed the weird but hilarious situation perfectly.

The Tudors as a show has ended a long time now. Right now, the actor is busy with season 2 of the Netflix series The Witcher. It’s set to premiere on December 17. Also, fans of the show will surely love to know that Cavill has signed on for 5 seasons of The Witcher.

Previously, he had shared a trailer of his much-awaited series where his character Geralt was with Princess Ciri (portrayed by Freya Allan). In season 2, both of them go on a journey together. This relationship and journey will change the story told in season 1. But that’s not the only thing that will change in the second season.

One of the most famous or infamous traits of Geralt of Rivia is of him doing nothing but grunting and glowering all across the Continent. But it looks like that’s going to change in the new season. Cavill himself said in an interview with Gizmodo that:

“There’s a comedy aspect [to Geralt being a ‘grumpy snowman’], and I wanted to lean away from that. I played the season one way deliberately, which was him in the wilds and without the opportunity for vast swaths of dialogue. I thought best, ‘be the man who is speaking less because that seems like he’s thinking more’—that was the intention with that.”

For now, you can catch The Witcher season 1 on Netflix.
