Henry Cavill, who plays Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes, was seen in some pictures from the set of Enola Holmes 2, and he looks absolutely stunning. Cavill played the role of the city’s most enigmatic detective for the first instalment of the movie. While it was the Superman actor’s first time acting out Holmes, he made it look smooth with his impressive acting skills.

Which is why, even though the film’s main attraction was Enola, a character played by Millie Bobby Brown, Cavill managed to awe the audiences with his outstanding performance and portrayed an entirely novel side of the famous detective. 

Alongside the primary character played by Cavill and Brown, Helena Bonham Carter and Sam Claflin will also be seen enacting their respective roles as Eudoria Holmes and Mycroft Holmes. Enola Holmes is a Netflix original film, and its massive success has gotten the streaming giant to create a second instalment as well, which will be released on the platform soon.

The shooting of Enola Holmes 2 has already started, and some pictures from the sets of the show have made it to social media. These pictures reveal a solemn tone to the costumes and the overall show seems to have been set in earnest. One of the pictures shows Henry Cavill in a black wool coat, wearing his chocolate tresses in their beautiful natural curls. From the picture, it is clear that the star was in between takes, as he seemed to be having a conversation with the members of the production crew. The shooting is taking place at the famous Land of Green Ginger street in England.

Another actress from the sets who made it viral was dressed by the costume department in a red-and-black 19th-century dress featuring orange prints. The streaming giant has still not disclosed a set date for the release of Enola Holmes 2, but it is believed to premiere sometime in 2022. In May 2021, there were rumours that Henry Cavill had signed a five-film deal with Netflix. If there is any truth in those rumours, then we are sure to see more amazing movies on Netflix from the franchise. 

The first installment of the film was directed by Harry Bradbeer, and written by Jack Thorne. And for the second installment, the duo has teamed up to create yet another masterpiece. When asked to talk about the film, Millie Bobby Brown, the lead actress, said,

“I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart – she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!”

Apart from his current project Enola Holmes 2, Henry Cavill has recently been interested in replacing Daniel Craig as the next James Bond. “If Barbara [Broccoli] and Michael [G. Wilson] interested me in any capacity to be a part of their movies, then I will gladly have that discussion, and that would be something I’d be very keen to explore further,” the Superman actor said.
