It shows Geralt finding out more about the Conjunction of the Spheres. The Conjunction is believed to be an explosive moment that caused the existence of humans among the universe where Elves resided. And loosened monsters in the world.
Apart from this, the season revealed that the potion required to create Witchers is made primarily of Elder Blood, which descends from a specific dominant elven bloodline. Now, moving forward in the franchise, The Witcher: Blood Origin will explore the event of the Conjunction of the Spheres in detail. The moment occurred over 1200 years before the days of Geralt and Ciri. Blood Origin will depict the creation of the first Witcher ever. And thus, the show’s main plot will revolve around all these ideas.

The Witcher: Blood Origin reveals the first shots of the Elven warrior Éile
The first still in The Witcher: Blood Origin trailer shows a glimpse of the elven warrior Èile, played by Sophia Brown. Previously, Jodie Turner-Smith was cast for the role. But the actress had to drop out because of some scheduling conflicts.
Along with the original cast announcement, a brief summary of the character. It said: “Éile, an elite warrior blessed with the voice of a goddess, has left her clan and position as Queen’s guardian to follow her heart as a nomadic musician. A grand reckoning on the Continent forces her to return to the way of the blade in her quest for vengeance and redemption.” So far, the theories suggest that the knife is a part of Éile’s signature arsenal. According to the trailer, the person Èile is aiming at with her sword is Fjall. The character is played by Laurence O’Fuarain, best known for his role in Vikings. Fjall belongs to the opposing race of Elves. And it appears as if he has developed a conflict with Éile. The snippet from his casting announcement revealed some details of the plot: “Born into a clan of warriors sworn to protect a King, Fjall carries a deep scar within, the death of a loved one who fell in battle trying to save him. A scar that won’t let him settle or make peace with himself or the world around him. In his quest for redemption, Fjall will find himself fighting beside the most unlikely of allies as he carves a path of vengeance across a continent in turmoil.”

The Witcher: Blood Origin’s trailer is quite generous with a reveal about a veteran actor Michelle Yeoh, who plays the character of Scian in the show. From what we know so far, Scian will act as a mentor to Éile. The character description tells her to be “the very last of her nomadic tribe of sword-elves. No one can come close to her artistry with the blade, and no one carries as much loss within their heart. When a chance presents itself to retrieve a stolen sacred sword, taken from her fallen tribe by nefarious means, she launches herself into a deadly quest that will change the outcome of the Continent.”
From all this information, it is evident that there are more than one tribe of Elves in the show. And they will be seen interacting with each other to various degrees. Thus allowing the audiences to better understand the history and heritage of their race. As well as depicting the devastating events that lead to their imminent downfall.

Ever since viewers got an insight into the Conjunction event, fans have been waiting for a deeper exploration of the concept, which brings us to one of the most compelling shots in The Witcher: Blood Origin trailer. It shows three stars overlooking a vast empty landscape. And while the detail can go easily unnoticed, there are signs of green light in the heavens looming overhead. Needless to say, this particular scene has something to do with the Conjunction of the Spheres.
The Conjunction of the Spheres is a cosmic event that caused a collision among different worlds. And as a result, humans and monsters came to exist in the world of Elves. We hope that The Witcher: Blood Origin will shed more light on the story of The Witcher’s Conjunction of the Spheres. The very first conflict between Elves and Humans
The Elves had long resided in a world they built as their own. But when humans arrived, they plagued the land by trying to claim it. So ruthlessly that they lead the race of Elves to almost cease in existence. From the trailer for The Witcher: Blood Origin, we can tell that the war between the two races started quite immediately.
This is shown with the three stars coming face to face with a pack of human soldiers, who then get into a dire fight with each other. The imbalance between the Elves and humans is apparent. The Elves have lived long, are knowledgeable and possess immense power. But the humans are new and driven and are more in number.
A potential inclusion of the mysterious monoliths from The Witcher Season 2
For a tiny split-second moment, the trailer reveals a shot of a massive mysterious block of rock, black and fallen horizontal. When looked from a distance, the structure closely resembles the monoliths in The Witcher Season 2. And the season explains how monoliths act as portals. And have a significant role in causing and controlling the Conjunction of the Spheres. Now a fascinating question that arises is this. Are monoliths simply a natural phenomenon occurring on the Continent? Or did a specific entity from a particular world use the structure to cause the Conjunction of the Spheres?
The Witcher: Blood Origin introduces Eredin, leader of The Wild Hunt
We know that The Witcher: Blood Origin is a prequel to Netflix’s currently running series. And that the show will tell the tale of at least a thousand years before Ciri’s birth. However, the existence of some characters that have sustained on the Continent for that long are certain to make an appearance. Mainly for the reason of linking it to the main series. These characters are Elves, and they are known to lead exceptionally long lives.
Jacob Collins-Levy will play the role of Eredin, an Elf from another world. So far, the character’s Origin has only been described in Sapkowski’s books. Apparently, his people, called the Aen Elle, possessed the ability of traveling through different worlds. They did these in order to secure slaves. Thus giving birth to the legend of the Wild Hunt. However, after the Conjunction of the Spheres, their routine saw a shift. This disturbance caused them to turn into their current incarnation as spectral beings riding forth across the heavens. This Wild Hunt first appeared in Ciri’s visions in The Witcher Season 2 finale.

Who is the Elf with the insignia staff
we see the cast as mentioned above in several shots for the remaining part of The Witcher: Blood Origin trailer. The trailer sets up an intense background but continues to lay low on revelations, which is why we only know fewer details regarding the characters. However, tone specific shot reveals an Elven druid was holding a peculiar circled staff in his hand. The title-card for The Witcher: Blood Origin also dips into this particular staff. We can believe that the decoration will be of prominence. And yet, we are hoping that the forthcoming trailers and clips will reveal more details about The Witcher: Blood Origin.
