Marvel receives 19 Emmy nominations. Hawkeye and Moon Knight both received two nominations, while Loki received six, and the animated series What If…? received three. As Star-Lord T’Challa, the late Chadwick Boseman was nominated for “What If…?” and won the award for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe was only recognized in the technical categories this year. With Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen winning Best Actor and Actress in a Limited Series and Kathryn Hahn being nominated for a supporting actress award, the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally broke through to the upper echelons of the industry last year.

The actor Oscar Isaac of “Moon Knight” fame did win an award for his work in “Scenes from a Marriage.” This is in contrast to the previous year when “WandaVision” earned Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, and Kathryn Hahn acting nominations.
