Here’s How The MCU’s Infinity Stones Created By The Celestials

It’s possible that the Celestials, who were introduced in Eternals, are the ones who created the powerful Infinity Stones. There are still many problems in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will hopefully be fixed soon. Even though the Infinity Saga is over, the MCU grows with Phase 4. Moreover, Phase 5 is expected to be even better. A new team of superheroes was introduced to the MCU in Eternals. As a reason, the Celestials got a little more attention.

The Eternals’ Connection To The Celestials

Developed by the Celestial Arishem, the Eternals are an alien race that Chloé Zhao introduced in Eternals. The Eternals also conceived the Celestials’ evil counterparts to protect Earth from the Deviants. The Eternals were sent to Earth centuries ago, and the Eternals have been on Earth ever since, waiting for a signal to return. Eternals helped humanity progress. However, they never tampered in any of their conflicts, even when Thanos annihilated half of life in the universe. As a reason, this caused friction amongst them.

The Eternals decided to part ways after this and reconciled years later after their leader, Ajak. It is here that Sersi was named the new leader. They were sent to Earth to ensure that humanity met the preconditions for the birth of the Celestial Tiamut, whose seed had been planted on Earth, and his “emergence” meant the destruction of Earth.

The Eternals’ connection to the Celestials, especially Arishem, allowed viewers to learn more about these beings. However, most of their story remains a mystery. Now that the Celestials are linked to the MCU’s Infinity Stones, the Celestials may be the ones who created the Infinity Stones.

The Celestials Before The Infinity Stones

Celestial

The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s oldest race, the Celestials, possesses vast matter and energy deception abilities. Because they are the first form of existence in the universe, they predate the Big Bang and the six singularities that led to the MCU’s Infinity Stones by a long shot. To make room for more Celestials to be born, the Celestial race was propelled by Arishem to use their infinite cosmic power to create worlds and life forms. This was demonstrated in Eternals when they planted the seed of Tiamut on Earth, whose birth would result in the annihilation of our planet. They also expanded the universe’s capacity for life by creating more celestials. This, in turn, led to the creation of lifeforms. However, everything had a cost.

It wasn’t the first time the Celestial race appeared in the MCU, as Taneleer Tivan, a.k.a. Groot, appeared in the first two Guardians of the Galaxy films, but in different ways – in the first film, he was disguised as Groot. When Benicio del Toro’s character, The Collector, first revealed the Infinity Stones’ origins to the Guardians of the Galaxy, they learned about the Celestials and the mining planet Knowhere, whose mascot was Ego, a deceased Celestial. There are a lot of questions and fan ideas about how closely the audience has been exposed to the Celestials in Eternals. This has led to a lot of speculation.

A Connection Between The Celestials And The Infinity Stones

A few members of the Celestials have used the Infinity Stones for their nefarious ends. Because of their immense power, only those with exceptional strength can handle the Infinity Stones, and the Celestials, who are so powerful, used some of the stones to put their plans into action.

The Collector explained this to the Guardians at the time. Using a Power Stone, the Celestial Eson the Searcher demolished an entire planet, and it isn’t known if other Celestials, such as Knowhere, have used the Stones at some point.

Infinity Stones May Have Been Created By The Celestials

It’s possible that the Celestials were the ones who created the Infinity Stones because of their immense power. This is also because the Celestials have existed for so long. Pre-Big Bang, there were six singularities in The Collector’s story, and the vast explosion centered six crystals from them and sent them through the universe, so the story goes.

Together, the stones tapped into a vast reservoir of power that encompassed all aspects of the universe: time and space, as well as mind, reality, and power. The Celestials may have been behind the creation of the Infinity Stones. This is because this specific narrative does not go far enough in explaining their origins.

As depicted in comic books, the Celestials created the Infinity Stones. This year’s event Infinity Wars saw the Celestials re-creating the Infinity Stones. It also saw bringing them into their Quarry of the Gods. This is also where Loki learned that they had created them. They used the Norn stones to travel across dimensions to inspect other creatures’ existence in Symbiote Spider-Man: Crossroads.

The Future Of The Infinity Stones

There’s a good chance Marvel Comics will use this idea to cement its villainous reputation further. Additionally, it wouldn’t be out of character for the MCU to do so. The Celestials have the knowledge and power required to create six Infinity Stones. Given that they can shape, alter, and destroy life, it would be appropriate for them to be behind the creation of the Infinity Stones.

The origin of the Stones remains a mystery. However, it is most likely based on power and control over the universe. This will further give rise to entities like Eson mishandling the Power Stone. Furthermore, even the tragedy of Knowhere is a result of their misuse of the Stones. Since the Celestials created the Infinity Stones, they could also create more. This would bring more chaos to the MCU shortly after seeing how Thanos and the Avengers used them, causing even more destruction. Infinity War is over. However, the MCU still has more to say about the Infinity Stones. This is even though the story has come to a satisfying conclusion.
