Marvel Studios’ secret weapon for Phase 4 of the MCU expansion is Disney+, which is set to debut some major heroes like She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel to the public for the first time through the service. WandaVision, Disney+’s first original series, was a resounding success. It even won an Emmy. The final Disney+ show of the year, Hawkeye, is currently on the air. There are only two more episodes in the series before Marvel Studios’ 2021 officially ends.

This is followed by 2022, which is expected to be even more significant. Secret Invasion and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special are likely to follow, with shows like She-Hulk and Moon Knight in between. Ms. Marvel, the first Pakistani-American superhero in the MCU, will appear in-between.

It was originally scheduled to be released this year. However, Ms. Marvel looks like it will be available in the summer of 2015. It has been announced that Iman Vellani will play the new MCU mainstay. Spider-Man: No Way Home’s red carpet premiere featured several new cast members who were eager to share their excitement for the show’s upcoming airing.

Yasmeen Fletcher played Nakia Bahadir in Ms. Marvel and attended the red carpet premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Furthermore, she teased what fans can look forward to when the show premiere on Disney+ in Summer 2022.

In an interview, Fletcher expressed her hope that the Disney+ show “represents everyone as well as [they] hope,” and noted that the show has “a really great story.”

“I’m just hoping that it represents everybody as well as we want it to, and everybody feels touched by the story as much as we are, and everybody cares about it as much as we do. Cause it’s a really great story”

Diversity At Marvel Studios

Ms. Marvel

Marvel has made up for any lack of representation in the Infinity Saga by releasing phase four and beyond the series. In addition to the upcoming Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye is paving the way for the deaf Native American hero Maya Lopez to get her show, Echo, and Eternals’ cast is a work of art.

When Kamala makes her debut, the character may be going through some major changes, which could lead to many discussions that could overshadow all of the great representation that’s going on. If all goes well, this could be good news and Ms. Marvel becomes a hit.

Finally, in 2023, Iman Vellani’s hero will get to encounter her idol, Captain Marvel. Moreover, she will also team up with Teyonah Parris and Monica Rambeau in The Marvels. In the beginning, the character is going to be a speed demon.
