Desperate fans of the Star Wars world are anxious and waiting for the return of a legend. Obi-Wan Kenobi is said to have returned to the sands of Tatooine. The show is said to bring two legends from the Star Wars universe.

Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will be back, as well, and they’ll be on the show. Everyone from Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker will reprise their roles. And, very well, the fans will see the rematch happen in over three decades.

The Show Will Detail The Life Of Kenobi

Other than that two, the fans really know very little about Kenobi’s journey. Apparently, the story will take place somewhere between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. It will also feature the Jedi-hunting inquisitors, who made their first appearance in Star Wars Rebels, and they will be a part of it. The show is said to delve into these topics.

Other than that, it has been said that Luke and Leia will play a big part in Obi-Wan Kenobi, but the specifics haven’t been revealed yet. However, new information seems to show, at least in part, how the Skywalker twins will affect the events of the Disney+ show.

Star Wars fansite, MakingStarWarst has more info on why Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi has to leave Tatooine and abandon Luke in the new Star Wars series.

Some say that after fellow Jedi Nari finds Kenobi on the desert planet he has made his home; Kenobi will be forced to leave the planet and go somewhere else. The presence of Nari and Kenobi on Tatooine causes the Jedi-killing inquisitor Reva to notice them. This means that Obi-Wan is putting young Luke in danger by staying on Tatooine.

Because Nari doesn’t know, she doesn’t know why the Jedi master is on this world. Han Solo and Luke Skywalker are on Tatooine. When Kenobi is called on the mission to help save Leia, he realizes that it would be far more dangerous to stay on Tatooine and watch over the young Skywalker.

If you look at MakingStarWars, you can also see that Obi-Wan is going to get in touch with Luke’s uncle Owen at some point and give him a gift. Owen, of course, refuses, and Obi-Wan is forced to keep an eye on him from afar.

Obi-Wan Kenobi was never one to take a risk, but it looks like he will have to take a big one in his new Disney+ show. Luke and Leia’s inclusion in the project has been rumored for months now, and fans have wondered how the two kids would actually be used in the show’s plot.

This is what it looks like. Audiences might see it for the first time soon. In some way, Luke is a part of the series. This story, on the other hand, is more about his twin sister.

This could be the case with Obi-Wan Kenobi starting and ending on Tatooine. Fans will be spending very little time on the desert planet during the bulk of this new miniseries. By the second or third episode, fans will be whisked off Tatooine and into this adventure to save the young princess.

It’s here that Obi-Wan and this new Nari character will face off against the likes of the Inquisitors, the Empire, and even Darth Vader himself. However, by the time A New Hope starts, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be back to watch over Luke. This means that at the end of this series, the ageing Jedi master will likely return to his new home. And could also settle back into hermit life.
