Tom Holland expressed his admiration for Downey and admitted that he’s “shamelessly” adopted his mentor’s look like his own during an interview about his appearance:
“Listen, he’s a very stylish man, so stealing his style is not the worst thing in the world. The glasses, the suit, the hair, the whole thing. I love him to bits, he’s a lovely guy, he’s been a great role model to me over the last few years, so yeah, I’m definitely stealing his style shamelessly.”
Through their time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe together, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland have developed a close friendship. During that time, Downey mentored Tom Holland in a variety of ways.
