With the mastery of the genre of superheroes, James Gunn today rules both DC and Marvel. Gunn is the executive producer, director, and writer of John Cena’s Peacemaker on HBO Max, a spin-off from The Suicide Squad. It isn’t apparent what transpires through Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, but Gunn did advise to bring in some tissues as always. Now, DC just concluded their first sub-franchise TV series, Peacemaker, and it brings in a lot of surprises that many didn’t figure out until the end.

Gunn had been hinting at a big surprise for Peacemaker that would surprise fans in the run-up to its big finale. So now, the movie director has talked about that big revelation and a connection to Marvel that you didn’t know about before.

Filming The The Finale Of Peacemaker

People who work on Peacemaker talked with Variety about the big cameos in the show’s Season 1 finale. Executive producer, writer, and director James Gunn talked about them.

Finally, John Cena’s character goes all-out to take down the Butterflies’ cow, but his team is way too small. Danielle Brooks’ Leota Adebayo calls her mother, Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller, and asks for help from the Justice League. The ARGUS leader doesn’t seem to be on board with the idea.

We talked to Momoa about coming back as Aquaman before we started filming the HBO Max series; Gunn said in the interview, and they agreed to do it. The director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 also said that Momoa just laughed at the jokes Peacemaker made about his character. He said the actor was pretty much on board from the very start.

Marvel And DC Works Together For Gunn

As for Ezra, Gunn said that Marvel Studios helped them film the Flash scene while they were filming for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Where The Other JL Characters?
