Last we saw Lady Mysaria, The White Worm, she’d threatened Otto Hightower by telling him to remember that when Aegon II becomes king, it was she who put him there. Mysaria also insinuates that she could’ve killed Aegon like “a wasp on a fruit.” Her iconic line, “There is no power but what the people allow you to take,” shows her confidence in her spy network and the knowledge that she has accumulated. The White Worm will play a more important role in House of the Dragon than we think.

During Larys’ feet fetish scene, Alicent’s (and Otto’s) spy-friend reveals how Otto Hightower found Aegon II before the Queen did. The answer: Lady Mysaria, the former lover of Daemon Targaryen, who ran a spy network in King’s Landing and sells information for a price. Knowledge is power, as proclaimed by Littlefinger from Game of Thrones, and Mysaria understands this well.

However, now that Larys burnt down her tavern, what will she do? Is she even alive? Read ahead to find out.

Mysaria Will Most Likely Be Alive In House of the Dragon Season 2

Mysaria plays a major role in Fire & Blood, and it wouldn’t be wise to remove her completely from House f the DRagon. Even though the series does alter some things from the original book, they will most likely keep Mysaria’s role the same. Needless to say, she lives in the book and actually creates a better spy system. She even conspires with Daemon Targaryen to kill Aegon II Targaryen’s firstborn son and heir, Jahaerys. Things are about to get intense in House of the Dragon!

The White Worm hires two stone-hearted killer spies called Blood and Cheese. Mysaria does this after dealing with Daemon to infiltrate the Red Keep. As Cheese, aptly named, was a rat catcher in The Red Keep, he knew all the passageways. And Blood, as the name suggests was the killer. As per George R. R. Martin’s book, Blood and Cheese successfully infiltrate the Red Keep.

How Does Mysaria Mess With The Greens? [SPOILER AHEAD]

After infiltrating the Red Keep, Blood and Cheese manage to sneak into Alicent’s room where they tie and gag her. Waiting for Helaena and her children to enter, for their evening chat with their grandma.

As Queen Helaena arrives with her three kids, Blood and Cheese slaughter the bodyguards and compel her to pick which of her young kids will perish. Being unable to make a decision, Helaena pleads with the cutthroats to murder her rather than the children. They resist and warn to murder them all if Helaena does not make a decision soon. Unwillingly, she chooses Maegor, her youngest 2-year-old son. Mysaria’s cutthroat Blood, kills Prince Jahaerys instead, the eldest son and heir of Aegon II and Helaena Targaryen.

The White Worm would be driven to assist Daemon to achieve vengeance on the throne since the programme has previously established Daemon’s links with Mysaria and the underbelly of King’s Landing, and Mysaria undoubtedly knows that the greens attempted to kill her.
