Thor: Love and Thunder movie is out now for Marvel fans to celebrate the fourth solo film of Thor and Natalie Portman returns as Jane Foster.
In the movie, Mighty Thor sacrificed her life to defeat Gorr the God Butcher and destroy the Necro sword.
And in the second post-credit scene, Jane Foster arrived at the Valhalla with a warm welcome from Heimdall.
However, this movie ends with Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor character being dead, Marvel may have some plans to bring back her character in the future.
Jane Foster Returning From Afterlife
There is a possible way of bringing Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster character from Valhalla for future Marvel projects.
In the comics, Jane Foster eventually dies at a certain stage because of cancer similar to the movie.
And later on, she gets a second life with the help of Odin and Thor using their powers to make this possible.
Then Jane Foster becomes the Valkyrie and also she wields Undrjarn, the All-Weapon which is used to create any kind of weapon she imagines.
Traditionally the Valkyrie’s main job is to guide the spirits of dead Asgardians to Valhalla.
Mighty Thor’s Future In Marvel
The second post-credit scene sets up the possibility of characters returning from the afterlife.
Similarly in the Moonknight series, Marc Spector returns to the living world from dead.
So using this concept and like in the comics storyline Jane Foster can return from Valhalla for future Marvel projects.
Thor: Love and Thunder could be the first and last time we can see Mighty Thor as she is dead.
The arrival of Jane in Valhalla may create some imbalance so Odin decides to make her a Valkyrie.
And currently, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie is busy ruling as the King of Asgard, so it is perfect to bring Jane as a Valkyrie.
However, we should wait a long time for this to happen in future Marvel projects.
