With Phase 4 completed, Marvel fans are looking forward to the next set of movies that will bring the MCU one step closer to the epic team-up adventure of Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars. But, before that happens, Captain Marvel 2 will bring together three heroes from distinct projects.
The Marvels will be the follow-up to 2019’s Captain Marvel, continuing the journey of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers. She will, however, be accompanied in her next journey by Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ adult Monica Rambeau, last seen in Wanda Vision.
The Marvels And Avengers: Kang Dynasty
According to reports, Captain Marvel 2 will be a “mini-Avengers movie” that will establish the foundation for Avengers 5. And now, according to a new wave of rumors, all of that appears to be turning true.
The Marvels is said to have an unexpected link to Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and it has everything to do with Ms. Marvel.
The ClanDestines travelling from the Noor Dimension served as evidence that Kamala Khan’s bangles have the capacity to “bring entities through other dimensions.”
Not only will these bangles have the capacity to extract “characters and resources” from across the Multiverse, but they will apparently also start up an incursion in The Marvels “that will escalate to bigger things.”
Incursions will surface as a recurring theme in the MCU for now. An increasing number of incursions will occur, bringing Kang into the situation and assembling the Avengers.
All of these invasions are significant because the incursions into these several universes contribute to the Secret Wars storyline.
Ms Marvel Season 2
Iman Vellani’s statement that Kamala Khan will return to Jersey City following “The Marvels” isn’t shocking, given that this is the character’s logical development.
Season 2 will concentrate on Kamala’s transition to the role of a full-fledged superhero and the duties that come with that status.
While this clearly resembles Peter Parker’s adventure in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War, the values she learns from Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau will determine how she approaches this unexpected path of being a hero.
