It still seems weird to learn that Hugh Jackman will be joining the MCU as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. Fans have craved to see the two on screen since when Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool first showed up in 2016 . So Disney acquired 21st Century Fox and Jackman will appear in Deadpool 3, which is being produced by Marvel Studios. Jackman recently revealed that the MCU version will be “angrier and grumpier.”

Fans are simply speculating on what this new collaboration will serve and what they can expect. The two actors have already displayed such a strong bond that it is getting harder and harder to wait for the film where they work together to take on the bad guys.

Reynold’s Eagerness

When Marvel Studios acquired the live-action rights to the properties as a result of Disney’s 2019 merger with Fox, Reynolds reportedly contacted Jackman regularly to enquire about the possibility of a Wolverine and Deadpool team-up. Deadpool 3 is reportedly Reynolds’ top priority, according to Jackman. But Jackman didn’t accept the agreement until August of this year.

When discussing what to anticipate from Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman told the fans, “It’s going to be a blast! It’s often referred to as Wolverine 10. That is the name I chose to use. Being on set with Ryan every day has been fun. “They’ll probably be punching each other to death the entire time,” he said ,referring to Wolverine and Deadpool. I’ll probably have more fun making this movie than any other I’ve ever done. We also talked about how Deadpool 3 could be doing ‘ Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe’ plotline.

Despite the fact that it has been referred to as Deadpool 3, Jackman admits the name may need to change the title. In an interview, Jackman made fun of the title, saying, “I’m very sure Wolverine wouldn’t enjoy that.”

Fans have breathed a sigh of relief that Deadpool 3 is finally happening. The movie will premiere on September 6, 2024
