Dominique Thorne, a.k.a Riri Williams (Ironheart), will fulfill the urge of fans’ to see mechanical armors flying around the battlefield. 

She is highly inspired by Tony Stark, a.k.a Ironman in the comics, as she is also an MIT Alumni, just like Tony. 

Shuri and Riri are shown as friends in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Probably, they were friends at MIT and are now in pursuit of fighting the war in Wakanda together. 

Riri will be seen as Ironheart with her MK-1 armor, flying around and battling the bad guys. The trailer didn’t show any glimpse of her armor, but we will definitely be seeing it before the movie releases. 

The Big Question: Will Riri Williams Be The Next Tony Stark?

Undoubtedly, Shuri and Riri are super genius friends. And it is not strange to see them together working in a lab. 

Tony Stark was way ahead of his time and learned from his mistakes. He technically had the knowledge to counter every problem and situation he faced. 

And to prove it, you must recall how he almost died in space while sending the nuke through the big space hole. And in Avengers: Infinity War, we saw him flying to space with a functional suit. 

And this proves that Tony Stark has always been the best among all. Even though Shuri and Riri are brilliant beyond their age, they are still inexperienced in the situations that Tony has handled throughout his journey. 

So, it would be wrong to compare Riri Williams with Tony Stark. Instead, we can say that Ironheart can be a kind of successor to Tony Stark’s Iron Man and will give hope to the world. 

Can Marvel Plan Something For Ironheart In The Future?

Yes, Ironheart will definitely get a solo movie where Marvel might connect the story of Tony Stark’s family with Riri. Tony’s daughter might wear the armor to continue his legacy. 

We will definitely get to know about the future of Ironheart after witnessing the aura this character creates in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
