The highly anticipated solo movie of DC Comics’ superhero, The Flash, is set to introduce a number of popular characters from different timelines, including a darker version of the titular character himself. However, it seems that director Andy Muschietti may have accidentally revealed the appearance of another major villain in the upcoming film.

Reverse Flash, also known as Professor Zoom, is one of the most iconic villains in The Flash’s history. He is the alter-ego of Eobard Thawne, a scientist from the 25th century who finds The Flash’s suit and adopts the moniker “Professor Zoom the Reverse-Flash.” He has a number of evil exploits, including the creation of an atomic bomb that The Flash had to defuse.
Reverse Flash In The Flash Movie
Although DC Studios has been tight-lipped about the plot of The Flash, it is highly possible that Reverse Flash will make an appearance in the movie. The fact that alternate timelines and realities are being explored in the movie could open up opportunities for Reverse Flash to play a role.
Furthermore, a version of the character has already been portrayed in The CW’s The Flash TV series, becoming one of the most recurring foes for the Scarlet Speedster.
The Flash will hit theaters on June 16.
